2/12/08:
1. Speed Of Light / The Snake - Really energetic, by far one of the best SCP performances to date, and it only keeps growing on me.
2. Don't Stop The Dance / ACE - Possibly the best song ACE has ever sang; really powerful track with a fantastic hook and great vocals.
3. Feelin' Alive / Drama - Happy-go-lucky Delta at its best!
4. Full Metal Cars / Daniel - This song is an addiction...
5. Do Ya Wanna Dance / Santa Claus & D. Jingle Bells - Saifam was the by far the best label during the italo disco era, no contest. Tracks like this prove how ingenious they were with lyrical and melodic creativity. The fresh production qualities from the 90's present here don't hurt, either!
6. Yes I Will / Cherry - Huge standout from 184 that just rules. Delta is on fire!
7. Runaway / Nick Mansell - I suddenly became more interested in Nick Mansell after Burn Into The Beat was released, and this is his awesome debut SCP performance!
8. Speedway / Niko - I didn't expect to enjoy this very much, but I was surprised.
9. Go! Get Ready / Dave McLoud - That synth hook is mega-catchy!
10. ABCD / Marie Belle - Really nice. Proves that Time could compete against Saifam when they wanted to as well.

That's Garcon. Unless you have an exclusive Claudio Magnani sung version

You also previously messed up Caterpillar Man as being Boogaboo, not Jungle Bill (the vocalist was Rimonti, not Festari, who assumed the alias over him, similarly to Cy-Ro)! Had to point that out.

2/28/08:
1. Superfantastico / Matt Land
2. Captain Fantastic / Matt Land
3. Mystery (You Are) / Mike West
4. Tokyo Tonight / Mark & Roby
5. Night Flight To Tokyo / Matt Land
6. Killer Queen / Matt Land
7. Fever The Night / Matt Land
8. Gas Gas Gas / Manuel
9. Superdance / Vicky Vale
10. Bad Dream / Matt Land
Very heavy on Matt Land this week. He was seriously the largest driving force of A-Beat C during its grand days. Also recently downloaded Tokyo Tonight from Saifam's website - kick butt!

is that an actual duet between Gabrielli and Farina?

3. Mystery (You Are) / Mike West
That is a great song. Didn't you think that one and Midnight Boys had a similiar vibe? I think those two songs were both written By Luka Pernici, and if my memory serves me , I recall seeing Gambogi in writing credits as well.

No, it's just Farina, but Roby Adruini helped produce it, so it's quite different and interesting in contrast to Asia's other recent stuff.

Haven't actually heard it yet, but I might soon because I'm interested in buying Maharaja Night 25 for Runaway and Love Is Magic. But yeah, Mystery (You Are) is a surprisingly beautiful track; I think Time's sound was great in early 1996 because it gave that classic vibe with sounds that are still pretty modern by today's standards.

Runaway is a fantastic track - probably my favourite Nick Mansell song, in fact, and a great showcase of old-school SCP (before all their modern trance-infused stuff, although I love that stuff too)!
