Personally I never listen to the radio, it's just awful! (It was not awful in the 80's, at least, not as I remember.)
As for eurobeat lyrics, sometimes when I hear some new eurobeat track I'm jamming out to, enjoying the beat and feeling, half-ways through the song I start to pick up the lyrics. The lyrics don't bother me. Although great lyrics will enhance any eurobeat song. I like to hear lyrics with more then two main chorus lines. Tell me a story! Tell me of a fantastic experience! X-citement!
I dunno, are lyrics really the source of excitement? I guess you can build tension with a story in there and maybe some surprise lines, it's always backed up by the music though. There are some Eurobeat lyrics I like, such as the chorus lyrics of "Doctor Doctor" (Lisa Johnson).
For the SEB covers, I like the style of the 120's. I enjoy creating CG images, so I'm all for seeing bright colors.
Well, no objection to CG-babes from me.

Trouble is when it doesn't look real. It doesn't have to (shouldn't) look NATURAL, it just must look REAL.
(BTW, I expect she's actually 'real' due to the 'quality' of her hair--modelling hair in 3D is a nightmare. [e.g., Number of strands + physics.] Either that it or the hair was composited on, but I think she's just been Photoshop'd that way.)
Lots of 120-style covers, as long as the model looks real, are perfect for me.

I have no clue if they are perfect for marketing Eurobeat today though.
I would like to see male/female pairings on SEB covers.
NOOOOO!!!!! I don't want to look at pictures of guys!
