Since we all pretty much know every vocalists alias; why not post pix of Clara , Dave, Federicco, Simon etc.. It would certainly give Eurobeat a more realistic image with real artists.
"Real" artists, eh?

To me, the philosophy of Eurobeat is 180 degrees opposite of everyone else...
You can create your own artist out of thin air... "real" thinking leads to some "natural" performance with someone strumming on their guitar and singing a bad song!

I listen to eurobeat because I love the style and energy. The more I hear top 20 songs on the radio, the more I want to hear music with energy.

As for eurobeat lyrics, sometimes when I hear some new eurobeat track I'm jamming out to, enjoying the beat and feeling, half-ways through the song I start to pick up the lyrics. The lyrics don't bother me. Although great lyrics will enhance any eurobeat song. I like to hear lyrics with more then two main chorus lines. Tell me a story! Tell me of a fantastic experience! X-citement!

For the SEB covers, I like the style of the 120's. I enjoy creating CG images, so I'm all for seeing bright colors. I would like to see male/female pairings on SEB covers. I want to see cool photo shots. Drama!

Personally I never listen to the radio, it's just awful! (It was not awful in the 80's, at least, not as I remember.)

I dunno, are lyrics really the source of excitement? I guess you can build tension with a story in there and maybe some surprise lines, it's always backed up by the music though. There are some Eurobeat lyrics I like, such as the chorus lyrics of "Doctor Doctor" (Lisa Johnson).

Well, no objection to CG-babes from me. :D Trouble is when it doesn't look real. It doesn't have to (shouldn't) look NATURAL, it just must look REAL.

(BTW, I expect she's actually 'real' due to the 'quality' of her hair--modelling hair in 3D is a nightmare. [e.g., Number of strands + physics.] Either that it or the hair was composited on, but I think she's just been Photoshop'd that way.)

Lots of 120-style covers, as long as the model looks real, are perfect for me. :) I have no clue if they are perfect for marketing Eurobeat today though.

NOOOOO!!!!! I don't want to look at pictures of guys!

What the hell? Why does it matter? Do you get off to SEB covers? That's the most ridiculous thing I've read.

Maybe I should have added an emoticon there. :(

We were talking about SEB covers that we like (to look at). Obviously my main concern is the music and marketability.

8) Like I said before Guys on SEB covers also can give Eurobeat a "Tuffer" image not necessarly "Gay" I'm with Oresama on that one.

Think of a rugged looking male model pointing a gun at you or something that says "In Your Face" .
It's all personal preferance, but a pic of a computer gen girl on my SEB cover gives me the image of "Sissy" music and I don't like that.
I say give the girls some Guns or Eyepatches or head bandanas. I like my girls "tuff", but not "Lez".

Computer generated girls ey... Well, as long as it looks fine to me it's allright. :P No serously I didn't know it was a CG. I don't have any of those covers in high-quality or real print with me, so it's hard do judge about the original. :?

I'm totally with djnrg to have the original artists on the cover! But then again, it makes the impression that the album is from that particular artist... Although I wouldn't mind having a SEB series album completely dedicated to Matt Land or Digital Planet... :9 Now that's high energy!

8) Exactly ! Nice cover. Not only that , but take a look at the title "Everlasting Macho Trax" I don't have that one, but I'm guessing full of Gino Caria and Dave Rodgers vocals 8)

The girls on the SEB cover arent generated at all... In fact if you look in the case in the newer SEBs (163 and after) they even list the models name. Also last year in the Staff voice avex posted pictures of photo shoots (one of which ended up being the 165 cover, the rest have not been used or never will be)
