Is it tru that the Italian team member actually called him a terrorist.? If so? he got off easy. That's what Channel 4 claims anyway. How resouceful? I really don't know.

I don't think he, Materazzi, made the comment. I'd guess it's a rumor. I don't believe things like that until it's completely confirmed. Rumors can destroy careers.

I was actually beginning to get irritated because before one of the games they had a little speach (Captains of both teams) about how everyone's equal, and their country doesn't support racism. Why should they be saying that? Isn't that self-evident? Really. You shouldn't have to say that, people should naturally know it.

Most of the "Materazzi said XXX" comments seem to come from Italy-haters who half the time in the same sentence accuse him of taking a complete dive during that hit (and well, the whole TEAM of doing that whenever a gust of wind blows).

That's NBC for you. You know they are currently in last place in battle with ABC,CBS and FOX, so it could be a desperate attempt at ratings.
That video game thing really p***D me off though.
