Since when? In your world?

I invite you to look back to the second disc on SEB 170, which also happened to be a mega mix dedicated to the newer eurobeat wave. Almost 1/3 of the songs were from the 160 era, and most of us can agree that the 160s were also a much worse decade than the 170s. How about that!

What's your next rebuttal? Also, since you got your figures wrong:

Super Eurobeat 180 (Disc 1) - 8% from the 170 era.
Super Eurobeat 170 (Disc 2) - 30% from the 160 era.

I really don't care since I'm not buying it anyway, but your post made me lol.
Oh hm, my mistake. I guess I don't pay attention to compiliations that obsessively. I have a life you know

I'm surprised, this track list is full of Domino songs compared to the previous 1*0 non-stops...

Mickey Mouse March, Popteen, DOMINO DANCING, Tora Tora Tora, and I Wanna Dance... AWESOME!!

Plus, there are a few songs there with Domino's vocals too!

OMG, a song called 180? SUGAR BABY PARAPARA on the DVD? I LOVE SUGAR BABY. I want a 200x remix of it, COME ON TIME DO IT!

I am definitely loving this track list. :3

I dunno where all the complaints are coming from, we all know how the big anniversary compilations are like, so no point to expect something different from the old form.

I like the tracklisting quite a lot and will get it just for the sake of buying all of the even 10s. Plus:

The major problem about the compilation is that most people were expecting an anniversary compilation that included the most popular songs from the 170's to prove which songs spawned the most attention over the last year, but with only 5 songs from the 170's, it's largely just another compilation that largely just features old material from previous anniversary megamixes. I honestly don't really see the point of buying the same songs over and over again.

Yet, we've had the same thing happening over and over again for quite some time. I hardly would expect them to present a best of 170s since that one is saved for The Best Of Super Eurobeat 2007. Like someone already before pointed out, this decade hasn't been very well presented on the compilation but it's not the first time that few songs from the previous decade were on a big compilation. SEB150 had only 7 songs from 140s per say. (And no nitpicking now, I am just saying that expecting more might be wishful thinking).

Oh and also even with a lot of old familiar titles, this is an album WITHOUT some of the constant repeat songs: Try Me, Fantasy, Kamikaze, Hurricane, Eurobeat...

Wow, this is even more underwhelming than 150 :???:

Let's hope I like it more once I have it in my hands.

150 was probably the worse non-stop, with the whole 2nd cd being full of ear piercing j-euro covers; but the DVD made it all worth it because it was pretty much the first we ever saw of artist interviews (and music videos!!!) - I'm hoping for this on 180. IF not music videos, at least artist lovin like 170 had:3

I haven't posted much but I have been reading the forums so I shall comment on this.

180 is going in an odd direction in my opinion. Old favorites (Boom Boom Fire, Eurobeat, Stay, Too Young To Fall In Love, Try Me, Space Boy, One Night In Arabia, Virtual Love, Kamikaze, Jam Jam Jam) and more recent favorites (Super Striker, Go Go Money, Midnight Love, Rain, Let The People Say, Eldorado, Crazy For Your Love, I Wanna Be Fat, Super Euro Flash, Chemical Love, Black U.F.O.) are no where to be found. I've always enjoyed these songs for their nostalgia and the fact that most of them you never hear on another album besides the anniversary one. Also of great distress to me is the fact that there is only one SCP female song on the whole set... and it's a group credidation (Scream Team - Horror Fantasy). Don't get me wrong I love that song but what about the Christine songs, Livin' In The Night, Kiki & Fancy/Kika. I'm glad Mickey B. finally gets on an anniversary album after a long hiatus, Domino has a bunch of songs on there, Fightin' Over Freedom is on there, and Ennio has a lot of songs on the set, but as a whole, it feels like it's missing much of what should be on an Anniversary album. They added stuff that shouldn't be there, and took a lot of classics out.
