Javy - just so you know, I definitely take the DDR comment as a compliment!
Glad you enjoyed the track, although I got kinda lost when you mentioned about the 2002 SinclaireStyle "where's the bass?" - care to explain?

Alot of the Sinclaire tracks from 2001-2002 to me sounded like the bass was weak to the point where it sounded like the treble was dominating the track

That's more to do with the mastering of the track to be honest - the bass is pretty dominant in the draft copy I have, but I messed around with the EQ a bit too much on that draft. I'm working on making it more "rounded" to avoid the heavy treble.

Thats what I figured Tracks like Hyper Star Energy and Mission To Tokyo sounded very basslite treble heavy on CD but on vinyl they are definitely balanced and better sounding
Btw I'd love to see a simfile for Burn My Heart

Holy smokes, who produced that hilarious happy hardcore remix of "I Am Your Brother" in the beginning of the podcast?
Nina Francis usually sings jazz and accoustic music, so I can see where you guys are coming from with the Norma Sheffield comparisons, but I'm disappointed that my least favorite eurobeat vocalist came to your mind instead of my favorite (Melody Castellari); I'm aware that her voice is a bit softer than other vocalists, but if she were like Norma in my opinion, she'd have really awry pronunciation and would struggle far more to stay in-tune with the song. I do think the similarties to Elena Ferretti make sense though. Overall I'd definitely say that Brainwash is far more of an aishu-style eurobeat production, especially when compared to something far more aggressive like Burn My Heart or Fight!.
Anyway, I appreciate your comments guys, so thanks a lot! I'll try to produce some harder tracks in the future, but the advice I got is pretty helpful.
BTW, I've also reserved Burn My Heart for a simfile pack that's gonna be released on ddrevolved.com (originally ddrextreme.co.uk) - if you'd like to make it a collab file, please feel free to tell me,
GARY (lol)!

Shinraikan is one of a few people behind The Paradise Last. I was just the singer, he wrote/produced the track.

Dammit. I can't brain, I have a severe case of the dumb.
Shinraikan is not myself. "Burn My Heart" was written and produced by the_ditz, aka DTZ Project. The Paradise Last contributed most of the covers.
If you thought I messed up here, listen to the SEPH review of the podcast... I really beef it there.

I did notice that there were some pretty odd comments going on by the time you guys got to Burn My Heart - maybe in that sense it wasn't the best that the track came at the end of the podcast as I reckon you were all pretty much going stir crazy by that point!
Travis - you've been a great champion for the cause (i.e. the podcast) so no need to feel...erm, beefy?
