Eurobeat Prime :: Forum

Shibuya's Tower Records has so far been the best location for eurobeat, although a bit low on older material. Still had a few albums I was lacking and Euromach 100 which I had avoided buying for whatever reason.

Heading to Yokohama tomorrow and will see what I can dig up there then. Still a bit less than a week of exploration to go. Great town this is!

Have you been to any clubs yet? This week there are still at least B-1 on Wednesday and Starfire on Saturday.

Not yet, no. Tried checking out the address and I'm not even sure if I got the right place : 東京都港区六本木 5-16-52 ?

Not being fluent (or acknowledged at all) in the language makes finding addresses at times quite tricky. :P

B-1 is in ROPPONGI FORUM club, so the adress you have is right.
It's tonight, starting 7pm until 11pm.

You can acces it by dropping of at Roppongi station, then take the exit 3 and walk about 3 minutes. When you exit, just go right, and then right again to the big street. Pass Wendy's, Mc Donald's, Hard Rock cafe, and when you reach a crossing with a SUBWAY restaurant (now closed), the Forum is in the basement of the building right next to the subway

And anyways the club is like 1.5km away from my hotel so it really shouldn't be an issue getting there. If I just find the right entrance and all :P

Well, the event was magnificent. Thanks a lot to MrTechpara for helping me out with the stuff at the club itself. Even for a nonparalist the athmosphere itself was enough to get a big kick out of. Next Star Fire then.

Either I'm still high on the music or alcohol, but the FamilyMart on the way back had the best sandwiches ever :P Anyways, feeling good. Now I wanna stay in Japan permanently.

If you want to see what a big para/eurobeat event looks like, chech out "HeyheyheyNRG" channel on youtube, they upload some stream archives from the events, most notably Star Fire (biggest event in Tokyo).

Thanks again MrTechpara for the assistance at finding Star Fire and company there too. Great event, great music and one heck of a halloween party. Night went on by in a flash! Really needa see more of these events.

I'm going to practice some necromancy on this very topic. 3 years later, I'm making another visit to Japaneseyland. Sadly missing the Cherry live tour by a week. This time I'll be staying in Tokyo as well as Kyoto. Anyone with experience as far as Kyoto comes and obtaining teh eurobeats? Last time I got quite a few recommendations on where to obtain said genre within Tokyo and I shall use the know-how this time as well.
