Right, it's about time I put forward my best and worst from the 160s...
BEST 10 (Take a bow...):
01. Alvin - Dream Of You (best male Saifam track EVER)
02. Neo - I Was Born For Burning (best Neo track so far - such an awesome melody!)
03. Lupin - Black UFO (still has that great little spark)
04. Melissa White & Ace - Switch! (the "2love, 4love" of the 160s - awesome!)
05. Manuel - No Control (such power, passion and energy - Manuel's best)
06. Milk & Coffea - Yellow Butterfly (a perfectly crafted track)
07. Pamsy - So Fragile (I wanna keep Pamsy in my pocket, awww)
08. Van T.K. and Kiki & Fancy - Make A Move (bizarre combination, but worked sooo well!)
09. Garcon - Super Kaiser (hope for the future of HRG - an awesome song!)
10. Groove Twins - Viva The Night (the synth hook and chorus = WIN!)
Honourable mentions:
Pamsy - Walkin' In The Shadow (Livin' In The Night pt. 2 - I love Pamsy!)
Cherry - Bang Bang (excellent cover - brought Cherry back with a BANG BANG!)
Mad Cow and the Royal Eurobeat Orchestra of Bazookistan - Vodka (nuttiness at its best!)
SCP All-Stars - Big Heart (grand finale for the live SCP concert - I wish!)
Cindy - Pun Pun Beam (this is what female HRG should be - cute, fluffy and bonkers!)
WORST 10 (Hang your heads in shame...):
01. Lou Lou Marina - Who's Making Love (ugly, ugly, ugly!)
02. Baby Gold - The Night Is Party (equally as ugly!)
03. Vivi - Just For Me (horrible vocals and Eurodance rip-off thru and thru...)
04. 70's Queens feat. Annalise & Virginelle - Get Up and Move (DDR reject)
05. Linda Ross - Love Is Danger 2005 (the original was never that good...)
06. Sophie - Drive In The Night (god, it's an 80s nightmare!)
07. Rose - Magic Rainbow (sentimental garbage...)
08. Karen - Lost In The World (such an ugly vocal line)
09. Sophie - Touch Me Touch Me (just doesn't really do much...)
10. Christine - Rain (I just really don't like this production or melody)
Dishonourable mention:
Nick Key - Black Is The Night (steal Manuel's "No Control" intro and you go to the back of the class!)
Contrary to what many people believe, I think the 160s was much better than the 150s - loads of memorable tracks and big anthems, but maybe it's just because it's the first decade that I've followed from the very start (only came into Eurobeat around SEB 156...)
