Augh no, I don't want nearly 1/3 of the CD to be comprised of A-Beat C. I honestly just can't stand them anymore (this'll be thoroughly covered in my review for SEB 186).
Sounds like a personal beef with them? or are you just tired of them hogging up the SEB space with mediocre material

yep - it appears 187 has no gogos music on it. :C
I really really REALLY hope this 13 track deal is either only with this album only, or at most the next three.

ABeatC could come out on top if they ditch their sort of deeper, darker, almost melancholy tracks and return to the old-school synth sounds that they only touched back on in Go Baby Go (is that the right "Go"-count?) on SEB 185.
Looking forward to the Dave Rodgers tune, even if it's a Remake. Also RICK CASTLE~

I took the Acapella on the single Can Can World and made the lyrics...
Code: Select all
Come on!
Bang Bang!
Dance Dance!
Bang Bang!
iiiiiiii-ya Can Can!
Bang Bang!
Dance Dance
Bang Bang
Hey! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Here we go!
Tell me Mr.President, I need to live in hapinness
Wanna be just coming in
Now, give me time I think about it
Come every time you dream
And take me like a teddy bear
All is ready, now you see I wanna feel the beat
Now you want me
Shake your body next to me
Don't you love me?
Come on boy, you get me free
Flash me night girl
Everytime you turn me on
Play these wonder
Come on,
C'est la vie, c'est la vie, c'est la vie, c'est la vie, c'est la vie
Come on!
Hey, welcome to the bang bang
Ready for the dance dance
Kisses over me
I wanna be your 63
Running on the wasteland
Ready for the can can
Coming up to me, come to Paris
Hey, Hey, welcome to the bang bang
Ready for the dance dance
Kisses over me
I wanna be your 63
Running on the wasteland
Ready for the can can
Coming up to me, come to Paris
And tell me lady, mon amour
You keep pushing for the moon
Wanna take in, answer me
I spend my time to think about it
Cool me every single day
And take me on your wonder world
All is waiting, now you see
I Wanna feel the heat
Now you want me
Shake your body next to me
Don't you love me?
Come on boy, you get me free
Flash me night girl
Everytime you turn me on
Play these wonder
Come on,
C'est la vie, c'est la vie, c'est la vie, c'est la vie, c'est la vie
Welcome to the party!
Hey, welcome to the bang bang
Ready for the dance dance
Kisses over me
I wanna be your 63
Running on the wasteland
Ready for the can can
Coming up to me, come to Paris
Hey, Hey, welcome to the bang bang
Ready for the dance dance
Kisses over me
I wanna be your 63

Or at least make them as good as "Black Devil" by Ray Sun, which is basically what you described. I think they set the bar too high early on with this track and their new sound, so we haven't been given much to look forward to with tracks like "Fight All Night" and "People Like Dancing" really...

Interesting thing that I noticed is AbeatC's song titles. Every other title sounds like the other. I think the emphasis is too much on the song titles intead of the actual composition. In fact I'm starting to think that ABeatC is starting with the titles and trying to compose a song from that; which doesn't allways work. Could they be trying to relive thier glory years by hanging on to certain song titles from the past? Hmm.....
You know ther're are more words out there than, fight, love, hey, dance, and fly

ok,
according to CDjapan, this new album will be absolute crap...in total we will get 11 new songs...wtf...i mean from 16 (new songs) i dont count remakes as a new song...i am however interested in the song by coo coo, as i remember they had a song on DDR 3rd mix.(upsidedown)..back in 1999-2000...back in the day...lol and it was very catchy...
i am not sure why they have done this and i am very disapointed...maybe this is th begining of the end for SEB....and they were soo close to 200...i guess using the same or very similar base line for 180 albums does get old...what am i saying....but it is a possibility i guess

The Coo Coo track sounds nothing like the song from 3rd Mix - it's more like your modern Saifam style that we've come to expect. You can hear a sample of it on the Saifam mp3 site at the moment

Well the new SEB director has already made a name for himself for being completely indecisive, so he may perhaps revert back to the traditional format once he realises people hate this one.
Perhaps. No one's saying it's sticking around forever though.

The Old Skool Coo Coo songs were the bomb, this new style is silly at best.

SomeTIMES the remakes are better than the new stuff. Persoanlly I'm enjoying The Eurobeat Masters and Juno Downloads and Mu Mo extendeds a lot more than the latest SEB material. I think HRG Attack and Dall Ora should start releasing compilation cds with just thier material. HRG Attack has done it in the past and proved better than SEB.
Maybe SEB should change the name to something else, because the soongs don't sound as great as in the old days.

Maybe just "Eurobeat"? Their decisions on what songs go where, and how they're mixed, sort of exclude the term "Super".

#Infinity and I have said exactly the same thing! I would rather listen to the World 2 album from the LED catalogue on iTunes than most of the recent SEB albums any day!! And the most recent Eurobeat Masters album has proved that Delta are producing tracks that can put A-Beat C and the most recent SCP (yes, you heard me right - my old favourites!

) to shame.
Some labels really need to buck up their ideas, and Avex really need to start selecting the cream of the crop to stop the series spiralling further into oblivion...

Yeah, I think Avex has GOT to include less A-Beat C per album if they stand a chance of producing another truly good SEB like 172, 175, and 179. After the past few releases, I'm simply convinced that the label is just not gonna redeem themselves at all anytime soon. Hey Hey was their only track off of 186 from them that wasn't downright terrible, and even that got old quickly (much like Speedy Runner, Go Go Go Baby Go, etc. for me). People Like Dancing is one of the worst eurobeat songs I've ever heard in my life (I don't even want to think about it!), and based on the direction the label is heading (especially with Nuage gone and Norma still aboard), they're probably not gonna get any better than it in anytime soon. I can't take their music seriously anymore it's so boring and uninspired. They're bringing the series down, and the fact that 187 still has 4 A-Beat C tracks doesn't promise any improvements for the future.
Btw, 186 is now my least favorite album of the 180's so far. 185 has grown on me a bit now that I consider things - it has some very prominent highlights and very few weak tracks; 186 is opposite. The return of Saifam and SinclaireStyle isn't enough to save it from a rather lackluster showing from Delta + SCP, as well as the horrendous mush from A-Beat C.

A-Beat C is in its final death throes. They got to go(i doubt that will happen any time soon) Time is still alive and kicking, too bad they're getting dropped.
