Ugh, I bet all three SCP songs are old, since they're apparently cut from their original length, which means they were all probably around 5 minutes long.

Right. I think SCP should really look up the defination of extended version. Flash & Love= 3:56.LOL! On the other hand ,that might be the reason thier songs are so good as of late.
Kudos for HRG Attack for giving us 3 real extendeds.

I don't think AVEX would do that to us? Would they?
I think I mentioned this before, but who else thinks SEB is slowly morphing into Eurobeat Flash?

Heavy HRG Attack and SCP with little to no ABeatC, DELTA and Eurogrooves. Plus they J Euro thingy EBFlash has too.

According to the thread by DarkSky we're going to have a green SEB back cover again. that would look a bit odd won't it?

I can see what they are doing there, but with the blue hues on the front cover for 206, surely a green back cover would be a little odd?

Yes that would look a bit odd, anyway I really like what they did there.
I wonder what color the back of 206's going to have.

Ugh, the wait for samples is killing me!! The 205 samples were up almost 3 weeks before the album release!! But here we are, just over 2 weeks from release, and there's still nothing except the Kate Project track on Juno.
C'mon Nanae - give us some sugar!!

A hint of whether the SCP song is older or not is whether or not it says Extended Version/Mix or SEB/Eurobeat Version. If it says Extended, usually it's 2007 or before. If it says SEB or Eurobeat, it's usually 2008 on up.

The funny thing is that nowadays thier extendeds all say SEB edit version and hardly hit the 5 min mark of a true extended.

But I think that's the point - if the song is tagged "SEB Version", it probably means that it will be a newer track, and they tend to be around the 4 minute mark. The older tracks that are being gradually released will be tagged "Extended Version", and will probably be between 5 and 6 minutes.
Of course, these aren't hard and fast rules, but it seems that SCP are tending towards sub 5 minute track now. To be honest, if they feel that a song has said all that needs to be said in a 4 minute package, I don't see any reason to drag it out for longer than that. With the new Saifam tracks (like Little Lies and You Are Always On My Mind), you can probably take away the long percussion-focused intro and outros and be left with a track of a similar length to the SCP tracks like Plastic and I Won't Fall Apart.
But hey, I've never been bothered about having an extended version that just repeats parts of songs over and over again needlessly.

Yeah, I don't get it either. HRG are particularly culpable since they tend to drag their songs out to six minutes needlessly, although they're not the only ones at fault obviously. What's funny is that I used to complain about HRG's so-called four-and-a-half-minute "extendeds" for so long, and now we have these painstakingly tedious six-minute productions that repeat a certain section of the song four-times over. I don't know about drnrg or anybody else, but I wouldn't call a song that's simply repeating the same minute-and-a-half over and over a "true extended."
I have no problems at all with a song that lasts six minutes, but not when it's one massive copypasta. In fact, I wouldn't be fussed hearing a eurobeat song that lasts 10 minutes if it's done with some imagination. Now that would be epic. The extended of "Mad Desire" by Stephy Martini is a fine example of what all extendeds should sound like.
