The Lou Master song isn't Fastway. It sounds like a different singer. I'll find out the identity. But I'm pretty sure it isn't Fastway.

Lou Master sounds more like Nick Mansell to me though I wouldn't be surprised if its a new vocalist.

It sounds like "big tornado" slightly mispronounced to me.
Oh yeah, I can hear it now!! You know when you convince yourself that he's singing something and then you can only hear that until someone tells you that it's something else... that's the problem I had with this song!

Agreed.
Up & Dance, Up & Go is quickly growing on me as I listen to the sample a few more times. It has such a TIME/Eurogrooves vibe that it's hard for me to remember that it's an SCP track. Even the artist name shouts Dall'Ora & Co. to me.

ciao people,
well SEB 217 is somehow very difficult to say the least, there are some amazing tracks on there like the tracks from ken blast, hotblade, lou master, mega nrg man, marica and ofcourse the hi-nrg attack presentations
melody wise this is a difficult album, the tracks that are on the album are tracks that have to grow on you, there are not really instant slammers to be found exept the ones i mentioned above. personally i think the productions are good but i miss the instant melody catchiness such tracks as heather - beautifull boy.
SEB 217 reminds me a lot of the disney sounds somehow. i think this is an album that has to grow on you over the couple of months.
i,m really looking forward to SEB 218. this has to be the grand finale for the year and i really hope that avex brings up an album from the same high quality as SEB 215 because that is really the best SEB album of 2011 in my opinion.
oh by the way, found this on the avex site :
4. HAPPY TOYBOYS / CARTOON
かつて同レーベルの“JENNY ROM”も歌っていた“ベートーヴェン”の「第九」をモチーフにしたポップ・チューン!
i think this track supposed to be on the original tracklisting but was replaced by hotblade.
in the description they talk about the 9nth of beethoven, so maybe this was maybe a track such as can can world by makkeroni ?? who knows !!
ciao a tutti !!!!

Yeah Happy Toyboys is a bubble gum eurodance song by Jenny Rom from like 2002 that used Beethoven's 9th as the melody and it also had a remix that used Guillame Tell as the melody that was used in Dancemania Speed. The Cartoon version in my opinion isnt very good... I'm glad it got removed.

ENATIME saying that the writers for MNM (or Rocketman) are Oliva, Marin, Gatti in the booklet, which contradicts
http://www.ascap.org/ace/search.cfm?req ... 10&start=1 . Also, Directed is 7A Furuta, Ryo Akasako so 7a is not gone but just a co-director. However, I think it could be that 7A had a part in directing it in the early stages and that is why she is included in the directed portion. Disconnected is on final CD as well.
Bought Rocketman off JP iTunes. It is kind of a disappointment. It's definitely not an instant hit for me. I still do enjoy the sabi and riff though. I think this song might grow on me. I'm not sure if I like it better than Japanese Girl or not though.
Up & Dance, Up & Go Extend is 3:59 and Disconnected is 3:56 as well. Why so short SCP????????

After the news broke about the change in director, there was a further clarification stating that 7A would be a co-director with Ryo Akasako.
Also, SCP haven't been producing "extended versions" for a while now - that's why all of their tracks on Super Eurobeat have the "SEB version" tag, which indicates that it's closer to the old-style 4 minute edits we used to have. I still don't see the major problem with this, as the important thing is that the song sounds complete - needless adding of break-downs and repetitions of sabis/hooks to artificially extend the length is not necessary in my eyes.
Just bought the album from iTunes Japan - a word of warning, you cannot "Buy Album" this time around... well you can, but it will cost you a massive 4,650 Yen (basically 31 x 150 Yen, as they have the 15 album tracks + 1 iTunes exclusive mix + 15 instrumentals). So no instrumentals for me this time around...
Only just started listening to the album through (still playing "The Top" right now). I have to say that it is truly a masterpiece in every way - the best Delta track in ages!!

Favorite songs: The Top, Disconnected, Up & Dance, Up & Go, The Dark Side Of Your Moon, Every Heart Wanna Fly
The Top is very interesting. Only Travis could come up with lyrics like "I am the master of asphalt fight" and "I AM THE GAME" ahahah The part at 2:27 is pretty epic :O Since it's probably not going to be in the booklet:
"What were you thinking telling me to change my game? The style wasn't going anywhere. It was kaput. Don't you see that I'm done with this place? This whole thing. Don't you see that I've changed the game? No, I am the game. Before I knew where this was going, I wouldn't listen to you. Right now it disses[?] myself whatever you have to say. I made this something way bigger than you are ever going to be. I made it this far and I'm taking it to the top." Where did this come from Travis?? What is this about??
The Dark Side Of Your Moon is very awesome. It is a very emotional song that has incredible production and lyrics.

Good question! This section of "The Top" was an experiment, to see if this kind of spoken word bit would fit into a song like this. I've had several people in my life, friend OR foe, suggest that I forget about Eurobeat (or music as a whole). This part is addressed to those who discouraged me for mockery's sake as opposed to for the sake of my well-being. Everyone's got a few haters, so this is addressed to them~

Ah I thought it was about Eurobeat, but wasn't sure. Unfortunately I don't think the Japanese are going to understand what it truly means

oh well experimentation is always nice
Sorry for the errors in the lyrics! I just posted what I thought I was hearing
