8)Before Live Music redid thier site, I use to post onb thier forum a lot. One time a post from someone claiming to be Mike Hammer sparked a very controversal topic, because Him ,the guy claiming to be Mike Hammer, began to put down Eurobeat in a very ugly fasion. It even sparked replies from Federicco and Accantino themselves. Everyone was so confused because he gave a lot of real info about the labels and music. I was devistated, because the real Bonini was one of my fav artists.
I do not recall anymore, but Federicco and Accantino both discredited this "Fake" Mike hammer with a series of questions that he should have known when working together at TIME. Live Music team sure saved the day that TIME. It was pretty interesting facts. The reason why Bonini left TIME and so forth. If I recall correctly Nando Bonini himself respnonded later on under the simple name Fernando. I don't know what happened to the forum, but since I had no internet access for a while, when I returned ,the forum had been cleaned out and new webpage was establish. Pretty crazy stuff goes on in Eurobeat world.

Now you've got me curios; why did Bonini leave Time?

The same reason that Gelmetti, Moroni, Castagna, Somenzi, Dima, Caria, Accatino, Rimonti and others that used to work for them left?

To work for and/or start a new label, yeah. But isn't there usually more of a reason as to why people do the things they do? I was just wondering if he [drnrg] knew that reason.

I remember that! It was very strange indeed, he had much inside information. He wrote bad things about almost every eurobeat-related person. The only exception was Luca Pernici, who did good things, but was just a victim or something like that (according to him). Very strange. One would almost think that it
was Luca Pernici because he also left Time totally dissatisfied in that time, or maybe some companion of his. Anyway, we'll never know.
The chatboard was nice to read; too bad that someone put that crap on it.

The topic dr nrg refers to was...
"I used to sing for TIME(EUROBEAT must die) - Mike Hammer"

Don't recall a specific reason, but being good friends with Clara & Laurent, it was mainly to start of DELTA as a vocalist with them. One of the first DELTA records was "Kiss To Kiss".

Yeah, Mr. Bonini did the second guitar on Vasco Rossi band from '87 to '96,
and Laurent gave a hand in the recording of one of their albums as a
special guitar in '92 (?), also Clara started doing chorus for the band in '96.
Furthermore they were working together for Radiorama label (now a portion
of SAIFAM?), so it's easy to imagine.
As for the relationship between labels and vocalists, it doesn't seem like
vocalists have much belongingness to the labels, cuz it would be just
one of the studios which they are singing as turnist for. So the contact
between producers and vocalists would be given priority over it.
This might not apply to A-Beat C, though.

Do you mean they actually must sign a contract at Rodgers Studios and endure any conflicts during that period? Or is it more like repressing thier creative ideas for the label producers' ideas.

No, I have no idea what agreement A-Beat C has with their vocalists,
or even whether such an agreement is made between them in the first
place, but as you know, they declare their policy that their artists must
be "real artists". (I don't get the concept of "real arist" yet, though)
So they quit allocating one vocalist that many aliases and cut their
connection with the singers who sing also for other labels (i.e. Elena
Ferretti) and thus their current vocalists seem exclusive to A-Beat C, right?
Also SCP seems to follow their fashion but we know the exceptional case
of Luca. And this policy is opposit of the other labels'.
This is what I wanted to say.

yeah, SCP *seems* to do that, but I'm doubting that Roly Poly Rock is the usual Kiki & Fancy vocalists. Also, during Euromach they really juggled between Lucya vocalists. It sounds to me like Melissa White's vocals in History.

From what SCP told me, there was only two Lucya's ever, the old one and the new one we've heard on SEB.

Hmmm, what about Van T.K.? He seems to have always been Paul Harris... and unless those Van T.K. songs released in the SEB 150-160 are quite old... then it seems he also bounces around labels Delta, SCP and now Akyr.
The A Beat C thing, would this only apply to solo alias'? As Elena Gobbi has been Lolita, Virginelle, Go Go Girls, King & Queen, Groove Twins and Happy Hours in the past two or so years.

When did they make this declaration? Is that all they said, or did they give any explanation?

From what I gather, the Van & Christine duet was relatively recent, and he was almost definately still recording with them last year.
