Some news from Live Music Studio
Isn't that assuming that every one of those labels is going to be ON the SEBs to begin with? Maybe one or two of them (and where's Akyr? We NEED T-REXX ACTION!!!), but all three?#Infinity wrote:Avex is going to need to save room on the series for new labels such as Sinclaire Style, Dima, and Blast. Hi-NRG Attack seems like the only possible candidate to be dropped, considering they're the only label that currently releases their music outside of Super Eurobeat.
Even so, would it really be Hi-NRG Attack? They've been one of the few labels to REALLY stay for a while. Even Vibration got stuffed, and SAIFAM (a label with as important a place in Eurobeat history as ABeatC) had naught but a brief stint recently. Why would HRG take the fall, if not for 'political' (read: AVEX getting ticked for some reason) reasons?

Why the hell would AVEX drop HRG Attack, unless they are total morons. Why do they need room for these other labels? Just start another series. I really need to know where #infinty gets his info. Or is it just a personal preference of his for them to be dropped ? I say don't speculate ,unless you know for sure

TOTAL KICK ASS SONG!!!!

Time has released songs on Love Parapara. With songs like MC Thunder - Iron Man. Granted they call themselves "Time Spa" but it's still them.

They do need to split up the SEB series if they want to have all of these labels. It would be stupid to have 8 or so labels on an album that only has 18 tracks unless we wanna go with the 23 or so tracks like Euromach.
proposition...
SEB Gold
A-Beat C
Time
Delta
SCP
HI-NRG Attack
SEB Energy
Go Go Music
Blast
Sinclaire Style
Akyr (although Newfield isn't making new songs for the label
)
Dima

Knowing #Infinity reasonably well, he does like Hi-NRG Attack so I can't see that it's his personal preference talking there. Perhaps he was referring to the slightly tired sound that they have compared to other labels, which is true. That's not to say I don't love them, but they are sounding a little outdated at times.drnrg wrote:Why the hell would AVEX drop HRG Attack, unless they are total morons. I think it would totally be stupid for AVEX to drop HI-NRG ATTACK simply because that label, IMHO, single-handedly help develop the Euromach series to what it was.
As for HI-NRG ATTACK being outdated at times...I say it's a double edged sword with that label. Yeah, there are some terrible song by the label like "Control Alt Delete Blow" and "Black Night Cadillac", but think of the enormous effect that songs like "Velfarre 2000" and "Ganguro" has on the eurobeat community to this day.

How bizarre that you mentioned two of my favourite male-led tracks as being terrible!!para_rigby wrote:I think it would totally be stupid for AVEX to drop HI-NRG ATTACK simply because that label, IMHO, single-handedly help develop the Euromach series to what it was.

I do love HRG and their unique sound though

I thought Avex might drop Hi-NRG Attack because they're a minority label, and yes, their sound has become fairly repetitive over time (though I still enjoy most of their work). They've only been on the series since 141, whereas labels such as Time and A-Beat C have been around for practically the entire time. Similar to Vibration and Boom Boom Beat, HRG releases most of their songs on separate albums, but the rest of the labels (including TIME, because LovePara uses separate artists) are purely SEB-associated.
I don't really think the label will be dropped, but I saw it as just a slight possibility (and everyone was worried that they would disappear during the pre-release of SEB 171). If anything, they definitely won't have 3 songs per SEB during the 180's (more like 1 or 2), but they can be excellent in smaller doses.

Wow, yeah, I loved both of those songs too. I was pretty sure that everyone liked "Black Night Cadillac".the_ditz wrote:How bizarre that you mentioned two of my favourite male-led tracks as being terrible!!para_rigby wrote:I think it would totally be stupid for AVEX to drop HI-NRG ATTACK simply because that label, IMHO, single-handedly help develop the Euromach series to what it was.

Personally, I'm more opposed to the typical HRG formula for most of their songs, especially the intros which are more commonly than not, an uninterrupted stream of sixteenth notes for the entire four bars.
Love them or hate them, you can't deny they've done some really recognizable and popular tunes, though.
Be the sound you feel inside your voice!

Compared to the other two HRG tracks from SEB 153, Black Night Cadillac seemed a bit uninspiring to me (Pistol Man was a lot better, and CADAB was also good), but Joe D. Toaster has plenty of other songs that are better. My favorite song by him would have to be Maxi from Euromatch 14, but I also liked Everybody Go and even Sex Gun from 167 (why does everyone hate that song?Cosmic_Bard wrote:Wow, yeah, I loved both of those songs too.
