Everything depends on situation in Japan, where eurobeat and parapara become less and less popular then hyper techno and techpara, so Avex simply don't need low-quality fillers that were in the middle of tracklist in every 170 & 180 CD. Instead of 2-3 medium-quality songs from each label we get 13 highest-quality extended tracks from big variety of labels. We should be happy about it.

Reassuming in few words an obvious thing...SEB compilations aren't a field of war between the labels,

and the number of the songs for each label it doesn't depend on the worth of artists or songs.

The choices are only matter of contracts. In other words

"business".

I don't understand some of you here. How can you sad about loosing 4 min. cuts??? The songs written as extended, not just in Eurobeat but all the styles. Than they creating mixes like radio edit, other DJ's version etc. But the real originals are the extendeds!
In the golden years when we went to Italy to buy 12" vinyls.... I want to get back there. Extendeds always have the benefits instead of cuts, that makes a song hot.
I'm really glad if we'll get 13 tracks disc 1. I don't care if it's cheaper or not, I will buy SEB as always. Of course I'm not fully pleased, Avex should use all the second disc not just for 5-6 songs (remixes). They should split the labels to the discs and make them full.

Extended versions really aren't any better than SEB cuts to me. I get enough out of a song with the 4 minute version, and if including extended cuts means 5 fewer tracks, I'm seriously not sold.
