Sorry for the double-post, but noticed something vaguely interesting when I was checking out the track durations on the Tower.jp site:

1. YO SHINE / I DREAM OF YOU (04:27)
2. ACE / SET ME FREE (03:39)
3. ANNALISE / LOVE TOY (04:46)
4. MR. MOOG / BANG BANG COWBOY (04:42)
5. VIRGINELLE / BABY COME BACK (05:18)
6. DJ SPACE C / DANGER ZONE (04:39)
7. DAVID & TOY / YOU & I (04:50)
8. JOE D. TOASTER / CRAZY DIAMOND (05:06)
9. MELISSA WHITE / MOVIN' & LOVIN' (05:08)
10. MEGAN / TIME TO SAY BYE BYE (05:13)
11. CY-RO / JUMP ON THE SOUND (05:01)
12. GO GO GIRLS / SEX KILLER (05:03)
13. CLAIRE M. / MUSIC (05:03)
14. DIGITAL PLANET / A NEW DAY (04:50)
15. KING & QUEEN / YA YA YA (Slow Mix) (02:36)

SCP seem to be bucking the trend and breaking through the 4 minute barrier - shock!! My thinking is that the Melissa White track is slightly older when SCP were still in the habit of producing 5 minute extended versions.

As for Set Me Free, the SCP Eurobeat Version is 03:45 in iTunes, but that's with about 7-8 seconds of silence at the end, so this "SEB Version" should hopefully be identical...it doesn't need changing like they did with Legendary Heart's intro...

To my knowledge, Melissa White hasn't sung anything for SCP in years. Avex hasn't requested any songs from her. My guess is that Avex is dipping into the vault as Newfield has stopped making Eurobeat. I don't know if that applies to Capaldi productions as well though.

11. CY-RO / JUMP ON THE SOUND
This one is really weird. Festari's vocals are delivered in a way that sounds like he has been told halfway through the chorus to keep the noise down by his neighbours - does no-one else hear the way he starts to half-whisper halfway through? Come-on, a bit more conviction is needed for a speedier track especially. Undecided about this one...
None else ,but you and me have noticed this awkward style of his vocals on this clip. I'm guessing either half don't really care or don't pay attention to Festari's ever morphing vocal tones. To me it's a big deal and feel the vocal style was kinda an experimental call, but we'll see when the full song released.

*It's a good thing SCP song legnths are going up , but HRG seem to get shorter on each release. I want those 5:30 to 6 min versions of Magic Of Sushine and Rainy Days back

I see the ratio of these clips are'nt exactly giving you a "Woody" :D

I still can't work out whether this is an old-school A-Beat C production or a new Sun Fire track done in the style of the A-Beat C releases. Either way, it has that same feeling that all Annerley Gordon tracks from the 170s seemed to have - pleasant and fairly catchy, but hardly setting the world alight.
Judging from the overall "sound" and the fact that the song is labelled as "Extended Mix", it should be safe to assume that it's an old A-Beat-C track.

So AVEX decides to showcase an old ABeatC track instead of brand spanking new Sun Fire material? Judging on how great the last SunFire songs have been; I concider this an odd decision :???:

You should understand that due to certain circumstances it's sometimes not possible for labels to create as many tracks as you wish. it could be a filler track because of a lack of songs. I don't know for sure though.. it's just guessing ;)

It's a great idea to bring up the unreleased gems from Avex vault...just imagine how much treasure has accumulated in there since 1990.

Song like Love Toy absolutely deserved to be on this SEB, even if it wasn't released before..

As bread and butter of the teams are still their brand new creations, those should be given all the opportunities to see the light of day in coming releases.

It's been noted before that record company should try keeping new song rejections to a best possible minimum, since teams today are facing much harder circumstances than before, and their viability rests on their music being released.

I really agree with that. There must be gems that were unreleased... like the Pamsy and Ace Feat. La Gatta tracks.

There are 4 unreleased Pamsy tracks that I know of, so if SCP could get around to pushing them Avex's way again, that'd be awesome

I want to hear those Pamsy tracks as well as Damon's unreleased track...I love his voice.

But then, almost half of this album contains old stuff or at least sound that way, which even though I can't exactly say I dislike, doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me really.

For unreleased stuff I would turn to the TIME back catalog. Come to think of it Eurogrooves might have a few unreleased material lying around too. Unless Take This Way was actually the last new track Sergio Dall Ora composed. Damn has it been a year allready? :(

How do you figure? I only count DJ Space C, Digital Planet, Mr. Moog(Unless it's a new remix) and maybe Annalise? Ace isn't that old and Dima & HRG are all new. Unless you mean SCP as well?

Well, I did say almost.

Movin & Lovin, Cowboy, Love Toy, A New Day are old tracks, that's four old tracks out of 14 on on the album. The Virginelle and GGG tracks should also be old tracks cos they sure sound like it and I read in here a while ago that GGM don't produce much stuff these days.

It will sound like a 5 min track when it's released ... I think. 8)

Mr.Moog's Cowboy track is a remix, it includes more power than the pervious version ;)
