Woo! More 80s! And surprisingly, it's still the well done kind! The first vocal strand is a blatant rip-off of a classic 80s Dance track which I can't remember the name of at the moment! I think I probably like the bass in this one slightly better than "Got To Be Your Lover" simply because I love the rising pattern at the start. The synth hook is a bit odd and doesn't seem to sit well with the rest of the song. I really like everything else though - suddenly everyone has remembered what made 80s music great!!
I think it's "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega or something lousy like that. Luckily, the song transforms into something great very soon. The bassline is great indeed! And I do like the synth hook :)

The new Groove Twins songs is still the best thing in quite a while... as previously stated.. the intro especially sounds brilliant (but then again so does the whole song).

... I really have to say that I fully disagree with both of you. I've always liked the original Love Is Danger since it was released back in 1993, but this new version is even better than the original!
the_dits wrote:I hate the synth hook though - it sounds a bit out-of-tune to me.
If you mean the end of the phrase - this part was already present in the original version and I would rather see it as an effect than as out of tune. The synths are great. Thumbs up for Time Records with this great new version and perfect sound!
Well if TIME would stop releasing generic shit then they wouldnt have any bashers though their new track Pride by Dave is really awesome.

8)You TIME bashers should really stop. Everyone has different tastes. I myself prefere TIME's vocalists to all others. Except Clara, but she also had some of her bests tunes at TIME. Sergio if you are out there.. You are doing just great. Keep dishing out the Superguys and Touch & Gos. They are the best!!!! :D

Ok I don't hate all time tracks because I mean they USED to put out great stuff, and rarely do today, I mean Take My Time(EuroMach), Go Godzilla Go, Superguy and John'N'Mary Dance were frickin awesome, Terminator, Live Is Freedom, All Alone, All the TIME songs from 153 & 156-157 and 159 except Touch & Go, are all crimes against humanity, I mean when hear most of them I immediately switch so unless TIME makes more GOOD tracks like Super Guy and John N Mary Dance to me it will always be the label I wish that would left SEB so the other labels can get more slots.... TIME an A-Class label... my ass it is if anything the AClass is SCP, Delta and Saifam Time would be a C-Class label.

Time has it's good and bad moments. Personally, I prefer older songs by them; around SEB 1 - SEB 99. Their newer songs do lack, but some are good too. Personally, I like Chris Stanton - Love Is Freedom; it's not your usual stuff (in my eyes). Definetly not my favorite song, but good to listen to.

Also, Time's an "A-Class" label because it was the first label on the SEB albums that we all know today (the Avex owned ones, not Beat Freak). It makes sense to me why they constantly have a solid amount of songs on albums. Same goes for A-Beat C and Delta.

Unfortunately though, just because Time was the first does not necessarily mean that they are still one of the best =\

Well I knew why Time was an A-Class label but I think that just because they have been around for a long time doesnt mean they are still great. I mean I am never saying Time never did great tracks... it's just that their current tracks are either same sounding (see Sophie 0 Eternal Simphony and Helena - Melodies & Rain) or lacking in energy (Love Is Freedom.... great vocalists poor song,Moonlight Sensation same as Love Is Freedom) or... just plain bad lyrics with horrid vocals (see Overload - Terminator). I guess this can partly be blamed by Avex for consistently releasing bad songs from the label. I mean If they were to release more songs like Pride, John'N'Mary Dance or Superguy I would definitely look forward to more Time tracks, but since Avex is going towards the LETS USE CRAPPY SONGS FROM TIME trend I'll just have to wait till they run out of bad songs to use. Time for me has had few memorable songs in the 150s and 160s IMO I mean unless I look at the CD cases I couldnt tell you what songs are from TIME other than the few good ones and the one horrid one that Avex refuses to stop using...

^ XD Your bluntness is priceless.

I somewhat agree, but at the same time, I remember all their wonderful classics I constantly listen to, and I can't imagine them not on the series. My main problem with removing them is the thought that Hi-NRG Attack (which I only like a few songs from) might get more space. I have no real opinion on Saifam yet; SCP's a wonderful label, and if I was assured they'd get more space, I'd be a bit more comfortable taking a few tracks from Time, and letting SCP cover those tracks. Still, I hope Time will start producing classics again. They released such great material/songs back in the 90's!

I hope they release more great stuff... that's part of why their current tracks get me all in a titter XD Because the tracks nowadays are subpar to say the least... At least Avex got out of their LETS WHORE OUT LOLITA AND NUAGE phase that was running rampant during the 150s... I mean she is fun and all but let's hear someone else from ABeatC. So to end this all. I don't hate TIME I just raelly dislike their current tracks, (I find there best era to be from 1998 to 2001... 2002 and 2003 were eh but 2004 is where it went downhill) And Saifam is great I still don't know why they left during the euromach era but hey at least they are back, and I don't mind them getting not much space because I can still get the songs from them directly and yes SCP should get more space because they show the most promise out of the second generation labels.

I have to admit, I hardly ever pay much attention to what label the tracks are on when I decide whether I like them or not, but in general I love Saifam and SCP. A-Beat C are also really good, with Hi-NRG Attack a bit hit-n-miss. Time really don't sound like they are moving with the times to be honest.

8)Once again I gotta defend my label. I just listened to Jock Lee's track. That is HOT. It has mean verses. Romantic Sabby and Kick BUTT CHoRUS. The Synth is FAST FAST FAST!!! Sophie's Song is somewhat slower and I do prefere Lonely Love style, but it is nice at best. Love Is Danger 2005 is very well made and the synth hook is simply geniuous.
......and for all you guys that gave Superguy, Jon & Mary Dance and Touch & Go thumbs Up GOOD FOR YOU. Though I can't see why many of you dislike "Terminator". I think it is POWERFUL and great energy. It even has a break which is rare now a days.
To me TIME is the EUROBEAT CURE and a important part of SEB!!! ....and that's the Dr.'s final analysis 8)

It's very nice to see the comments and you guys trying to figure out the musical quotations I put inside.
The S.Vega gimmick was an extra we did at the end of the session, just for fun.
The riff is a typical italo 80's and if you listen to the bass line you'll hear the DOA pattern of "you spin me",I'm still waiting for my cd sample and don't know the final edit by Avex but on the extended you can hear the slap bassline at the end of the song.
The verse bassline is a PetShopBoys pattern.
The chorus is very similar to a PWL song, who got it?
The rap is a typical 80's dance pattern.

This kind of song is like a tribute to my eurodance background and all the producing process was covered by good vibes..thanks God!
eurobeat producing is more than a job!!!
