The good news about it being pushed back is that there will most likly be a continuation of Eurobeat music. I doubt they would make us wait so long just to end the series without at least starting up a new one or something.
If you look back in history ,the other Eurobeat series just kinda ended from one month to the other. EB Flash, Maharaja Night, Euromach, so I really think AVEX just wanted to give the labels good and plenty TIME to come up with new and exciting material. That's my thoughts anyway.

So we're looking at the same format from 150, eh? Hard to squeeze nearly 20 years of eurobeat onto two discs, if you ask me. But huzzah to some J-Euro...some Oresama, Tokyo Call, Love Dokkyun (possibly?!).
I'm assuming we'll see some parapara and artist interviews on the DVD?

Wouldn't it be cool if AVEX did one of thier famouse last minute changes and completey omitted that J-Euro crap cd for some brand spanking new Eurobeat songs? That would be a perfect way to kick off the year.

Would be nice, but I'm feeling Avex would really like to get its J-Euro stuff out again.

You pretty much know my thoughts about compilations like these...I just hope SEB 201 turns out to be something truly worth it after such a long wait for a new SEB worth my time (no, I still don't have 197 - 199 extended...), but the fact that it's supposed to just be a mediocre reinactment of the beginning of the series has pretty much caused me to not even care about the long wait at all because I have nothing to look forward to anymore.
Still, new songs being released from Hi-NRG Attack and Saifam that retain their real eurobeat status (i.e., Black Jack, Caballero With Umbrella) give me hope that the end of the type of eurobeat I love is not dying anytime soon...

Stop kidding yourself. It's going to be full of re-toasts.

Super (J)-Eurobeat Vol.200 ~Road to destruction~
I don't want J-Euro on SEB

Gotta have to add my feelings about this.
Get this fucking J-Euro shit out of here. I don't care if its to break the mold once in a while. Its like 150 decided to shit on 200. J-Euro is like the epitome of shitty music and that's a fact. Guess Disc 2 is going to make a nice frisbee or something to fling at Avex like in the Carrie sequel.

I'm not all too fond of J-Euro either, but think of it this way; would they include it if it wouldn't help the album sell? I doubt they want to mess SEB 200 up, especially with the extra time they bought themselves. So, the way I bet they see it, it's either exclude it and watch sales suffer, or INCLUDE it and not get much flack from the majority of their listener-base (Native Japanese speakers).

I think they might at least consider requesting labels to do a few more covers of popular songs in Japan to draw in more listeners. After all, it worked quite well with the awesome Blood On Fire.

It's true that J-Euro doesn't have masterpiece but think that once every rare time it happens, it's not so bad. I have nothing against the Japanese language, in fact I like it.
