8) the Dr. will make a quick visit and do a review(everyone Else Is)10 means awesome, below 5 means really bad. here goes. First of my peaises to TIME for giving us "Pride" So much Power & Energy, especially in Chorus. This definatly the guy from High Level.. Here is rest of review...

1. Annerly Gordon- On My Own 2005
Wasn't to thrilled with this song the first time it came out, so irt doen't do much for me this. though on AbEatC level it is pretty well done
(6)

2. Mark Foster - Queen
I like Boom Boom Beat, but I do not particularly like thier intros. To hard edge for me. The song more than makes up for this flaw. Love The vocals, syths and concept of the song
(9)

3. Mad Cow & The Royal Eurobeat Orchestra- Bazookastan
Love the trumpets. That alone gives it an 8. Add the vocals the russian "Mad Cow" beat and you got a classic HRG song.
(9)

4. Fuku Wa Uchi- Domino
I love Sandro Oliva, but this song does not fit SCP standards in a good way. I can't understand it iether. The music is the one thing that saves this song for me.
(6)

5. In The Nite Of Fire- Mako
What happened to Fernendo's vocals. Too high. Also I don't like trans effects on my Eurobeat. This is the worst song for Mako(in My Opinion)I much a million times perer "In The Stars" or "Shell Fire"
(7)

6. Into The Night- Mega Nrg Man
Another Night song for Mega NRG Man. This song is rather typical sounding, but I like that. Don't care for too much expirements in my Eurobeat. Sounds like a mix of all the male performers at ABeatC music style.
8

7. Dave- Pride
My absolute favotite on this Cd. Not only because it is TIME, but because it is reallt spectacular. It sounds different on many levels, it has an ending(I love That) and it flows perfectly well with Dave's(High Level) vocals and his female companion. I also do not recall any Eurobeat song with the title "Pride" That's Original. Perfect score.
(10+)

8. Make Me Believe- Cherry
A harmless song that just sounds good on Eurobeat standards. Much because of Clara's vocals.
(7)

9. China- Ken Martin"
More Boom Boom Beat. Cool. I Always like Ken Martin, but his best is Virtual Love". This song is actually very well done. The vocals are a big part for me and push this China higher.
8

10. Blue- Alexis
I might be bias about TIME, but to me all thier music just sounds great. From early 90's to now. Alexis is one of my favorites since "Hungry Hungry". I like her music is always recognizable and easy to sing the chorus very catchy.
(9)

11. Boogie Boogie- Donna
I'm still dancing to King & Queens "Boogie Boogie" in 153, but now I will be dancing longer. Best DELTA song on cd. The special breaks are a treat to hear. That's the kind of different I like...and the ending sounds like an old 80's sample of Earth, Wind & Fire's "Boogie Wonderland" very cool
(10)

12.No Control- Manuel
AbeatC added thier trans effects again. Don't care for it. Manuel's hype just doesn't get me. His songs are just ok for me. He falls in with Ace. Sorry this song doesn't do anything for me.
(5)

13.Shattered Dreams- Pricilla
Spanish style Eurobeat. I love it. Very romantic and Clara's vocals go well with the song. Much like Rose or Sophie. Beautiful..
(9)

14. Make a Movement- Dave Rodgers
Everytime I hear Dave Rodgers I experience Deja Vous. Sometimes Good Sometimes Bad. This time good. He sings instead of screams. If you really want to haer Dave Rodgers sing listen to "Dreaming" on FLEA records. He sings under Blue Sunbeam Alias. Beautiful song.
8

15. I've Got the Music In My Heart- Kelly Wright
I have recently reborn my likeing to ABeatC songs. This is one of the reasons. Very nice song. No trans or harsh elements to ruin atmosphere. Kinda sounds like DELTA. ...a little bit.
8

16. Looka Bomba- Go To
these guys with thier anthem style music are always nice. there is actually a synth chorus, ot like thier previous song. what was it called....? This one along lines of Funky Fun Lover. ...and that's a good thing
8

17. Pun Pun Beam-Cindy
if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I like HRG style. Sounds the same, but I like that!!! Easy to recognize. Whose rapping in the Intro?? This song is fast and cute. What the hell does the title mean??
(9)

18. Only For Love / Only For You- Phil & Linda
Sergio is really talented. I thought I would hate this song because it is a duet, but he captures the 70's Disco beat(in Eurobeat style) so good it's scarey, but in a good way. Also Linda really doesn't do much singing. It could have been Phil on his own. Very nice Composition.
(9)

All in all I like cd very much. I would give it almost perfect grade if it weren't for Manuel and Domino spoiling that. so I give it a 9. Time and DELTA did superb work on this cd. Boom Boom Beat and HRG also impressed me. ..and ABeatC surprised me with Kelly Weright.

Here's my review! ;D
Disclaimer: The songs recieved a 'review' of my own, personal opinion. My view on these songs are reflected on my own tastes and preferences of this genre. Some of you may disagree with me, or find me to be a bit bias, but that's what I want! We all have our likes and dislikes. This is just so you know what I thought about the songs on the album, just like how all the other reviews were to show what those reviewers thought! None of this is actual fact, obviously. Also - me giving a song a 0 doesn't mean it lacks any sort of quality we'd come to expect from Eurobeat, it just reflects that I would prefer not to listen to it.

1. A.Gordon - On My Own 2006 (10 out of 10)
I am really digging the recent reincarnations of these old songs. On My Own has always been a favorite of mine, and they did a top knotch job with this. Though, with that said, I will always prefer the original over this, like I have with every other remake. =P

2. Mark Foster - Queen (7 1/2 out of 10)
This song reminds me of "Spiderman." Spider, Spider maaaan~ Queen of, china toooowwn~ hehe. It's cool.. but I really only enjoy the chorus, and the song seems a bit too fast for my liking. Overall, it's a well done track, but not my thing.

3. Mad Cow & The Royal EB Orchestra - Bazookastan (5 out of 10)
To be honest, it's the same song. Seriously. XD I don't mind it, because I'm a fan of the label... and I give Hi-NRG big props of being able to create 'different' songs from the same sound, but there have been better done. This is a track I would skip.

4. Domino - Fuku Wa Uchi (10 out of 10)
Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi! Domino's happy and cheerful style of music really fits in with this SCP production! It's catchy, upbeat, has great arrangements and vocals - the perfect eurobeat track. Also, this has to be one of the best Japanese Domino songs to date - I'm looking really forward to what new tracks Alessandra has been 'cooking' up with ABeatC... >=D

5. Mako - In The Nite Of Fire (8 out of 10)
I really don't have much to say about this song, it's not my favorite of Mako's but it's probably one of the more catchy ones. Great vocals too!

6. Mega NRG Man - Into The Night (10 out of 10)
Mega NRG Man is a great singer, and the songs out there with his name slapped on them are things I've always enjoyed. This song is no exception to that. I would definately call this song one of the best on the album.

7. Dave - Pride (2 out of 10)
To be brutally honest, the vocals sound horrible! The song itself is quite catchy, but the vocals just really bug me, and just ruins the whole thing. =/

8. Cherry - Make Me Believe (7 out of 10)
A cute song, but nothing to write home about. Take a look at my conclusion after reading the rest of the song reviews, and you'll see more opinions about the three other Clara Moroni songs on this album. :)

9. Ken Martin - China (7 out of 10)
I love this song a lot, except for it's speed! I don't know why I've been so senitive to the BPM of the songs, but it's really noticeable these days, and if I just slow some of these songs down it makes them a lot better. haha. Excluding the hyperactivity of this song, I love the tune and again, it's really catchy. Slow it down a bit, Ken! :P

10. Alexis - Blue (0 out of 10)
I really dislike this style of Eurobeat, unless it's something from Norma Sheffield. Vocals are bland, so is the track... This is not something I enjoy or remotely like. :P

11. Donna - Boogie Boogie (7 out of 10)
"We went to the outer space." XD This song is pretty cute, but again, nothing extremely 'great.' Though, the sample in the song was uniquely implemented, and I really like that in Eurobeat. (See: Lolita - Pretty Woman)

12. Manuel - No Control (9 out of 10)
One of Manuel's better songs by far! Nice music, GREAT vocals, very upbeat and catchy! There's nothing really else I can say about this - other than it's a great song and one of the better songs on the album!

13. Priscilla - Shattered Dreams (8 out of 10)
I looove this song... but the alias used really bugs me... again, see more in the conclusion about this. :P

14. Dave Rodgers - Make a Movement (0 out of 10)
Yawn Yawn Yawn! If Blue wasn't on this album I would have dubbed this the worse, heh.

15. Kelly Wright - I've Got The Music In My Heart (10 out of 10)
Beautiful song! I really enjoy this track - it's upbeat but has a cool mellow feeling to it as well... and Karen's voice sounds really pleasant too. Beautiful chorus! This song remotely reminds me of one of my favorite Karen songs "Sail Away" from one of the SEB's in the 60-70 series (the exact album's number has slipped my mind. heh)

16. Go 2 - Looka Bomba (6 out of 10)
I like the idea of Go 2, but this song is only 'alright' to my ears. It's full of energy, and awesome Go 2 hotness... but if I was looking into choosing a Go 2 song to listen to, I'd definately go with "Not For Sale." :P

17. Cindy - Pun Pun Beam (0 out of 10)
What is a Pun Pun Beam? O_o This song is just too childish. Definately one of the lacking tracks on the album, for sure.

18. Phil & Linda - Only For Love Only For You (10 out of 10)
Wow, this song is so beautiful, and the 'disco' sound was implemented into the Eurobeat sound VERY well! Also, one of the singers has my name, which is always a plus! ;D A very beautiful song with a great catchy tune, and awesome vocals.

Conclusion:

First, addressing the 3 "Clara" songs. I don't know if she's having an identity crisis, but the actual artists portrayed in all three songs seems so out of place for me! I would except it to be something like:

Cherry - Boogie Boogie
Priscilla - Make Me Believe
Donna - Shattered Dreams

All three songs are very well done and enjoyable to listen to, please don't get me wrong! It's just a problem I have with the aliases. haha. I can always change them exclusively for my iPod, right? So I can be content in my own little world, huh? haha

Also... It's been like two years since Domino has had a self titled song to be released on a Super Eurobeat complation, which was the whole reason I bought this album. Not only do I really like this song, this song has pretty much brought me back into the Eurobeat genre more than ever. It's a treat to have Domino back, especially with a track that I can concider to be one of her best done.

Overall, some songs really stood out as great, and others just made me want to stop listening to the album all together. To be honest though, I would have just disregarded this album if it didn't have Domino's song on it. ^^;

Top Five Tracks (From Awesomess to Great):
1. Domino - Fuku Wa Uchi
2. A.Gordon - On My Own 2006
3. Mega NRG Man - Into The Night
4. Kelly Wright - I've Got The Music In My Heart
5. Phil & Linda - Only For Love Only For You

Worst Five Tracks: (From Horrible to Bad)
1. Alexis - Blue
2. Dave Rodgers - Make a Movement
3. Cindy - Pun Pun Beam
4. Dave - Pride
5. Mad Cow & The Royal EB Orchestra - Bazookastan

In my reviews, I gave an overall average score of 6 out of 10... but that's because there are songs on the album I absolutely dislike. Blue, Pun Pun Beam, Make a Movement, Pride rightfully recieved the lowest scores by me. Though, I'm going to add 2 more points to that score due to Domino's awesomeness, and new found favorites - making this album's overall score: 8 out of 10.

Hmm.. You Pun Pun Beam 0 of 10 and sayed it's too childish.. and you gave Domino 10 of 10.. are you saying that Fuku Wa Uchi ain't childish?
I bet you gave that 10 because she's Domino, not for the song.. sorry :)

And Pride.. geez.. it's a great track. Make A Movement ain't that good but it's easily worth some points but everybody's got their own oppinions/taste and that was your review, not mine ;P

Ack! How could you say that about Pride? It's the best thing to come out of Time for quite awhile.

And Pun Pun Beam is a really unique and powerful HRG song... who cares what it is, it's good! I'm pretty sure that that reasoning works for all HRG songs. :P

Saying that I gave it a perfect score just because it's a Domino song is quite unfair, to be honest. Do you think I'm so bias that I would lie? If I didn't think Fuku Wa Uchi was a good track, my review would have been full of disappointment, not propaganda.

My rewiev......

3. Mad Cow & The Royal Eurobeat Orchestra- Bazookastan

Cool trumpets. Mad Cow and Hi-nrg attack is a heavyweight in the eurobeat-world. And this is a very expected song, and delivers what you wait for. Not more, not less.
Like the russian sound of eurobeat.
7 out of 10

4. Fuku Wa Uchi- Domino

Nice chinese sound, and it is an ok song. But nothing special about it. The chinese song feels very childish, and it always does. Not the top of this album
6 out of 10

5. In The Nite Of Fire- Mako

Mako has never been a favorite for me. This sound like an ordinary eurobeat-song. Nothing about this song is really good.

5 out of 10

6. Into The Night- Mega Nrg Man

Mega NRG man´s name seem to have been ripped out of a TV-game. Mr NRG has never really been one of my favorites and this song doesn´t change that fact.
This song is ordinary, like the Mako song and like Mr NRG always is.

5 out of 10

7. Dave- Pride

I am not really a fan of the male-side of eurobeat. Dave´s Pride is boring song, with heavy guitars in the intro. I never like the guitars in any eurobeatsong. This is worse than ordinary.

4 out of 10

8. Make Me Believe- Cherry

Cherry is one of my absolut favorites among the eurobeat-artists. She has delivered many songs with class. The expectations were there after. And Cherry delivers. The Clara Moroni song is as usual, which means fantastic.
This song is best so far.

7+ out of (10)

9. China- Ken Martin

Very much Asian over this album. Song number four could have been japanese. I don´t know the differece between mandarin (chinese) and the japanese language. But it doesn´t matter. Nice that it is a song with Chine in the title, because there has been so much Japan, japan, japan.
Well i like the verse, but the refrain isn´t anything but ordinary.

6 out of 10

10. Blue- Alexis

Great song from Time. Remindes me of old times, when all eurobeat were fast and very happy. This song has a happy-mood-soft refrain with a great verse. Best so far together with Cherry.

7+ out of 10

11. Boogie Boogie- Donna
¨
A very edgy song. Sounds like the early 80´s electronic sound. The song i catchy, but to much edge over the song. It feels a little bit diffrent from the rest of the song. It has stolen a lot of 80´ sound that apperas in a cool way in the song. And a riff from boogie wonderland apperas in the absolut end

6+ out of 10

12.No Control- Manuel

Manuel and I will never do business toghther. The intro suck, and sounds very ordinary. A pinhole better than Dave, but nothing more.

4+ out of 10

13.Shattered Dreams- Pricilla

Pricilla is always make me intrested, when she is in the line-up. But this song is not one of her best. Some parts of the refrain is great, but that is short moments. The moments is good to give her a seven.

7 out of 10

14. Make a Movement- Dave Rodgers

The male-side is boring. So much sound almost the same in my ears. Dave Rodgers is no exception. The darn guitars. The sound feels typical Rodgers, and has nothing extra to offer.

5 out of 10

15. I've Got the Music In My Heart- Kelly Wright

A very ordinary female-side of eurobeat. I had expectations of the song. Long titles is always a mark for me that the refrain could be a hit. It is an ok song, nothing more.

6 out of 10

16. Go 2 - Looka Bomba (6 out of 10)

Looka Bomba? No, this is not what i hoped for, when i got SEB 164. Not one thing is a winner in this tragic song.

2 out of 10

17. Cindy - Pun Pun Beam

Hi-nrg attack and Cindy. Hi-nrg attack is in my opinion the number one label of eurobeat. But the last year has been a very disapointing year. Hi-nrg attack ruled in the end of the century and a few years after. But now? No Cindy don´t deliver. This is a fast non-saying song. But a few moments is great though.

6 out of 10

18. Phil & Linda - Only For Love Only For You

Discoeurobeat and something diffrent. A soft song, and a nice outbreak compared to other songs. And one of the best songs of the album.

7 out of 10

Total: 5+ out of 10

Comment: Not one singel 8 or higher. SEB has never been my favorite but once in a while a monsterhit shows up. Now it was a time ago. SEB was better in the beginning. The first 40 albums were much better. But at the moment i just can say that i miss the magic touch of euromach.

Fuku Wa Uchi! is an Eurobeat tune based on a Japanese children's song. How come it's Chinese... Chinese language and Japanese are totally different structurally and phonetically, though Japanese borrows Chinese characters from Chinese in respect of letters.

It's also worth nothing that Japanese is phonetically rather similar to Italian or Spanish in vowel system, so it's comparatively easy for Japanese ppl to pronounce Italian/Spanish and vice versa.

Its very interesting to observe the differences in taste here. It seems that everyone has a different opinion about an especific song.

Well, here's mine from an amateur eurobeat fanboy. :p

Top 5

Mark Foster - Queen
[9.5/10]

I may agree with some that songs with such a high BPM shouldn't belong on an SEB, but this is a style I quite like and the speed to me, is perfect. Anyway, I love everything about the song. From the powerful introduction and chorus, to the interlude, to the vocals... Everything, it just works great. I didn't give it full marks because it sounded almost too similar to Gun Boy, which was a little disappointing. A great follow up to his previous release, though.

Dave - Pride
[9/10]

Dave's first song Moonlight Sensation sounded okay, but compared to TIME's standards it sounded awesome, so I didn't know if I was going to experience something typical from TIME or be pleasantly surprised again. I must say I really was pleasantly surprised! This is normally a style that I don't really enjoy much in the genre, but it worked out fine. The powerful vocals (reminds me of Dave Rodgers a little bit) with the awesome chorus really did it for me, and it was just really nice to listen to. I hope TIME keeps this level up in the future, they're getting a lot better!

Ken Martin - China
[9/10]

Another Boom Boom Beat song; I really love the amount of energy and speed they devote into their songs. I hadn't heard any other songs from Ken Martin, but I've heard wonderful reviews about his other song Virtual Love, so I can understand where the hype is coming from. Very oriental sounding, sounds just right for Chinese New Year. :p I kind of liked the verses more than the chorus though, but I guess it doesn't really matter too much. Dynamic and fast, very effective, just how I like it.

Manuel - No Control
[8.5/10]

It's nice to hear a decent song from Manuel, as lately he's been a bit "bleh" to me. Nothing compared to his earlier releases though, but this is still a very enjoyable song to listen to. The introduction was a bit strange, but it was okay in the end and I've grown used to it. Everything else worked decently, and it's definitely on the better end of the album.

Dave Rodgers - Make A Movement!!
[8/10]

Hm, I had heard this song before it was on the SEB. I forgot where though. I enjoyed the song still, the only peeve I have is that it doesn't sound like something Dave Rodgers would normally sing, and sounds like something you'd want to hear in the early 100s. Got no other complaints about it though, it worked fine and I enjoy listening to it every time. Nothing like his earlier few releases, however.

Worst 5

Mako - In The Night In The Fire
[3/10]

This song just doesn't work at all. The horrible vocals makes him sound like a girl, and the song as a whole just sounds very hollow, and drifts from one part to another like it was nothing. I don't think we can get much worse than this. Can't think of too many good things to say about it, if anything, I gave him a 3 since I almost felt sorry for how this turned out for him.

Alexis - Blue
[4.5/10]

...Just sounds like something TIME would produce, heh. All female artists from TIME sound the same to me, in a bad way. Each time I'm listening to 164 and it turns to this song I change to the next one straight away. I'd listen to an oldies radio station if I wanted to hear something like this, sorry.

Mega NRG Man - Into The Night
[5/10]

I've liked many of his songs, but this one just sounds a little too bland and slow. I guess it sounded just 'okay', I doubt I'll be saying "oh I think I'll listen to Mega NRG Man's 'Into The Night'" in a few years time, that's for sure. A bit too abstract for me. Right after I listened to this song, I changed to Supertonic Lady and could see a striking difference in both songs as a whole. I hope this is just a one-time thing, most decent artists have their bad moments, anyway.

Cherry - Make Me Believe
[5/10]

I really don't like how Clara Moroni handles this alias. Cherry's songs sound all the same to me, and her style of music is debatable as it's not a style that I can listen to for a prolonged period of time, except if it strikes me unexpectingly. This is an example of why I'm really not liking Delta much at all lately. It's the same as what I said about Mega NRG Man really: too airy, and to top it, it just sounds like something I've heard from her before. Disappointing.

Priscilla - Shattered Dreams
[6/10]

This one's okay, but nothing special. Clara's handling the vocals again, read what I said above about her.

Other than the bad songs that I listed, I really didn't hate many of the songs on the album. It's definitely a step up from 163 in my opinion, and I'm thankful for many of the great songs on this album. Long live eurobeat!
