I Wanna Take You Up is finally a stunningly good Lolita song. Wasn't too long ago since I complained about Lolita getting some mediocore songs, good thing that got fixed already.

New favorite for the time being <3

My Review.

Was it just me (maybe I wasn't listening properly)... or did Mr M sound like the same vocalist for Phil o_O

Maybe Gambogi was using a mellow voice for that song.

That's interesting, but how does payment work? I don't really have the means to playback DRM files at the moment anyway, but I'm still interested. And are these versions the same as on SEB or are these extended versions?

I like:
Asya - A Love At First Sight
Nuage - I Love You Forever
Phil - Crazy & Ready
Christine - Rain

The worst are Digital Planet - Take Me Forever and Mad Cow and the Royal Eurobeat Orchestra - Vodka.

I Love You Forever is "bleh"; I won't say it's horrible, but Nuage's vocals in the chorus sound quite lifeless. Black Is The Night's introduction confused the hell out of me; at first I really thought it was Manuel - No Control. Leslie Parrish sounds like typical Moroni stuff.

Other than that, I loved the album. Lonely Night 2006 sounds really good. If you compare it to what most female TIME artists release nowadays, it's above par. Reminds me somewhat of the old days of TIME, which is always a good thing. It's one of my favourites on the album.

Switch!, Rain, and Let It Burn all sound good. HRG and TIME pleasantly surprised me with Vodka and Crazy & Ready respectively, as did the Cherry song; that was actually pretty good. Already listened to both Saifam songs on this album before but they rock on as usual.

All the labels had something to offer this time (still trying to find ABeatC's gem though :P). Nice album with decent variety.

I think Eurohero was considerably better than King of Chinatown  that counts for something

Prolly you'd pay by credit card (Master or Visa).
Yeah, they're the same edit versions, not extendeds.

8) So is AVEx burning themselves by posting songs, before anyone can buy the cd or do they simply wanna cash in on SEB 168 twice. If I could I would order the songs, just to have them and hear them, but still buy the cd for Collection purpose :D

It may or may not be true, but some people are saying it's because
the order quantities Avex receives from each retailer are getting
even less and less and the number of retailers where they have
SEB is decreasing. :(

Ohh, I'm glad to see myself clever again!
I ordered by Compilation on demand the Asya song, where the play time is 4:15 min.
On SEB they cut 15 seconds! Pfff... Why needs this??????
And not the first time, there was a Dusty song where they cut around 10 seconds from the orig. extended.
It's ok that they make a 4 min. version from a 5-6 min. extended, but if the extended is only 4:10-4:20, why needs to cutting them?
Boring...

That cannot be good news at all :( . It's a shame ,because in my opinion the quality in music has gone up. See the importance of supporting the music?

Is the popularity of Eurobeat/ParaPara in Japan on the decline anyway?

It always seemed to me that the megamix comps released every album decade (150,160,etc.) were much more popular than the in-between albums anyway, so maybe more and more people are sticking to just buying the decade releases now?

Just got my 168 today :) Where the heck did that Cherry song come from? It's actually GOOD! I haven't heard a Cherry solo song ever besides Yesterday that I actually liked, so it's great to hear a track by Clara under this title that I really enjoyed for a change.

Conversely, Leslie Parrish had yet another throwaway track... Where having the glory days of Save Me/Remember Me/Killing My Love gone for this name? :(

This is true, I'd have to say out of all of Neo's songs, King Of Chinatown is probably his worst (imho).
