..Still what do you think about NEO and Giacomo being or not being the same singer? Even though we know they are different vocalists, do you still hear similiarities?

Hey jeurobeat. This one is for U. Again from my personal collection.

Hey, thanks! That's great! Never knew what Mike Skanner looked like

I don't have that maxisingle. Does it feature only extendeds of Babe C'mon and Money For Nothing, or are there other versions as well?

I've been looking to buy that vinyl for some time; both the songs are great (as I'm sure most people know)! You're [drnrg] fortunate to have it.

....It has an interesting cover. Yup. I like it though.

I hear a lot of similarities between Neo and Giacomo. Very striking that they sound similar, much like Lou Turner/Jackson 'O and Symbol/Dave Simon from Time.

Being that TIME is my all-TIME fav, I should know those guys like the back of my hand, but I still get them confused

Silly Rabbit. The original Mike skanner was Gino Caria. :D On this coversleeve Mike looks more like the late lead singer of Alice In Chains.

Thanks! I am very fortunate. As you know back in those days I wouldn't let any 12's slip through my fingers!

I was just joking, hence the  I still think it's funny that there were so many artist names and pictures, while you heard the same voice in all those records. Ofcourse I knew it was Gino Caria

BTW another misleading entry in discogs: they say Mike Skanner is Tomas Marin, and the first example they mention is Hot Dog :D "What is love" was probably the first Mike Skanner by Tomas...

To me it was more along the lines of Lou Turner vs Mr M confusion

You made a good point there - in our database (which will hopefully be up for you to view in a few days) Lou Turner and Jackson 'O are both Giordano Gambogi and Lorenzo Campani. I think it's only one of them, isn't it?

How true. Marin did four songs under Mike Skanner. "What Is Love" was the first (released in 1994), then "Take Me Back" (released in late 1994). In '98 "Revolution", and in '99 "Revelation". Those are the only Mike Skanner songs he did the vocals for.

How well you know your Thomas info. :D
I wonder why AbeatC stopped using Mike Skanner persona. I personally think the sound identifying Mike Skanner was lost. "Revolution" was actiually an sexcellent song( one off my fave Thomas), I simply love d the way he almost seemed to yell out "REVOLUTION in my feeling..." Mike Skanner lyrics actually were kinda dirty eg:"Atomic Playboy".
on the other hand "Revalation" was sadd. It just had that rehashed melody many Mega NRG man and Dave Rodgers songs had back then. I guess that was when Giancarlo finally decided to retire the title.
