Hey! I jsut wanna tell you guys of the latest Eurobeattrack I've just discovered at the German TV station Viva: It's N-Euro with his new single "Lover On The Line"! While there are some real hot chicks in the clip, this song just puts you back to the 90ies when you listen to its breathtaking sound. A real big one! It was released in Germany, but does somebody know where else?

Erm. I really didn't like the song. It reminds me alot of Eiffel 65's sound.

And I really don't see the song as being Eurobeat at all. Eurodance/pop.

This is a cover of a tune that came out in Germany on A last Bad Boys Blue album. Characteristic David Brandes prod and melody in his typical
euroenergy-90-s sound. BBB played mostly german style hi nrg till early 90-s,than switched to typical german dance 90-s fare. Regarding 80-s BBB,that was the same genre as italian Eurobeat,naturally.

Nope. Not Eurobeat. Nu-Italo. Eiffel 65 is the best example of the genre... but there are many more.

The biggest giveaway is the heavy use of vocoders; you can hear all the digital pitch shifts of his voice, throughout the song, which is a very common element present in almost all Nu-Italo style songs.

As a matter of personal preference, I find the song slow and repetetive.... not a big fan of the lead guy's voice, either.

Well, Arena 69 did use the same sorts of vocoders in songs like I'm Dreaming, so Eurobeat isn't entirely untouched by that effect

But still, I'd have to agree that this definitely isn't a Eurobeat song, and come to think of it, this isn't a great dance song either o_O

The only thing Arena 69 and Eiffle 65 have in comon is the artist name. While I don't love Eiffle 65, I do not entirely hate them iether. Arena 69 kicks ass in every possible position imagined...even 69. Make mine a Space Jam orgy

Eiffel 65 had some good moments. I remember the song they did about PlayStation... you know you're out of song topics when...

Get a old Toyota Corolla GT-S.

Buy a copy of Initial D - D Selection 1

Then go driving whilst listening to it. Make sure you drift around every corner whilst doing so.

The Eurobeat this website talks about is the music that comes out of Italy by various small record lables, that is then released by Avex Trax in Japan.

That song you linked is more euro-dance, or europop. Regardless though I found the song pretty entertaining

also, if you search eurobeat and sort by date added, you should see a plethora of eurobeat videos; such as parapara dance videos, and novice made music videos.

mm, I don't know that much about music, but I think this music you posted is quite similar to the sound of N-Euro. Anyway I like all this stuff, but N-Euro is a bit mor freaky, and that's makes him more intresting to me

What's worse is that I was an aspiring amateur racer. Then I found out about all this.
