Ubiquitous Eurobeat Tracks

Yeah. I'm talking about
Night of Fire, Space Boy, Don't Stop The Music and all those deliciously overdone tracks that just keep popping up on every tenth SEB album.
I've noticed, disturbingly, that these tracks are not chosen because the fans like them, but more because they were featured in Initial D.
Your thoughts?

Yeah we talk about that quite often, or at least it gets mentioned. In other words the "Initial D tracks" as I call them (and I'm sure most other people do too).
While they may get annoying, never forget that without Initial D the eurobeat fanbase would probably be smaller, so at least it is some sort of promotion.

I think it's not only Initial D, but parapara dancing too that had helped promote these songs.

That's true, but there are lots of other old tracks that should be given some hurrahs as well.

I think these tracks in particular were pretty helpful to the populartity of Eurobeat as it is now. As far as I know, it's a must for every anime/manga fan to, at least, recognise 'Night of Fire' or 'Space Boy' in an AMV or just on the fly.
Personally I don't really like nor dislike these tracks. It's just your regular Eurobeat. IMO

Oh don't worry I didn't forget about para considering it's a large part of why I listen to Eurobeat. I would actually argue that the para fan-base of eurobeat is larger than that of Initial D's.

I can't stand parapara (no offense to those that do though; more power to you).
I'm sure this has been discussed multiple times before.
I share the same sentiments as Toni; I don't necessarily like nor dislike the songs named in the first post. They're good to listen to sometimes, but nothing phenominal.
There are certainly other songs that deserve popularity more than others. But that's also been discussed before.
