Feelin' Alive (Drama) question

Not sure if this is the right place to ask about this, but here we go ...

I've found there are two different types of 'like' for Eurobeat songs for me. One are the songs that seem okay the first time around, but after a few listens work their way into my favorites.

The other are songs that come out of the blue and hit me right away, prompting an immediate return play to confirm that "yeah, I could listen to this for an hour straight." :)

Anyway, cutting to the chase. I heard "Feelin' Alive" by Drama off of Euromach 14 the other day, and that turned into a surprise favorite. It was part of a nonstop mix, and while the transition from the previous song is good, I was wondering if a "standard" version of the song was ever released on any album?

Nope like many of the awesome Euromach tracks that song has never had a full version released.

And I agree with that liking factor theory. Works very often the same way for me.

Well I'm not sure if Feelin' Alive has one in particular but most Euromach songs were released on Vinyl, and while it's very hard, you can tend to find vinyl rips of the extended mixes around or better yet, the vinyl itself :D

In relation to this song in particular though, I don't have the vinyl rip.

Alrighty, thanks for the info.

In a way, it might be better to just be content with the version I've heard. There have been other ones where I've heard a Megamix Clip then tracked down the original or an extended version ... and it didn't really add anything to the experience.

Some songs have the bulk of their "wow" in the 20 seconds of the chorus, so extending the song to 5-6 minutes long wouldn't help. Feelin' Alive's probably one of those.

Although I do find myself wondering if the lyrics for it in the database are 100% accurate or not. It'd make more sense than what I thought the chorus was first saying (I heard "Feelin' Alive is a notion to die"?!?) - but this IS Eurobeat, so who knows? :)
