Good luck finding any official routine videos except for hidden ones, Hinoi Team ones and ParaParaParadise (the PS2-game) ones on Youtube nowadays.
TechPara is ParaPara done to Hyper Techno-kind of music. It differs a lot from ParaPara. The moves are different, the rhytm is different, the patterns are different, even the way you do (like the pauses inbetween moves, how long each "stanza" is, etc.) is different because of the very nature of Eurobeat and Hyper Techno and their differences.
Likewise, TraPara/ToraPara (done to Trance) is very different from both ParaPara and TechPara.

TechPara is done to Dance Pop in addition to Hyper Techno, like Aqua's "My Oh My" has a TechPara dance.
There are many artists who sing these types of songs because one singer can have many aliases, so you need to take time to listen to a lot of Eurobeat and decide what artists you like, or what ones you want to discover.

Some of them do, like Just A Little Bit/Gina G and some House stuff like Cappella, too!MKwiakaku wrote:Also, a good bet is the new We Love TechPara series, which (most of the time) features a DVD with TechPara routines. The songs on it are just (hyper) techno, and no dance pop, though. O:

And ooohh... I always wondered about Shout / Rok-Matic. SCP posted about it a while ago, but put that as on Jewelry Style or something, so I wasn't sure if it was a typo or something...
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of techpara. Is it just me, or, like, even within individual songs, it seems to only range from incredibly simplistic routines to OMGWTFCOMPLICATED routines?

Shout is an insanely good song, and I believe Walk On Fire is SCP's as well, because it sounds like Fastway and Lisa Lion singing together.Mikaeru wrote:And ooohh... Secret is, on we love TechPara IV's DVD ending credits, it's the instrumental for Shout playing!!
The TechPara scene is pretty complicated, but there are Circle Groups and then Official Clubs affiliated with labels (like STAR FIRE and 9LoveJ). The Circle groups create the insanely easy routines because people in circles aren't as good as "real" parapara dancers, but they make more routine for Dance Pop and House music. The official clubs like STAR FIRE create the dances for official Hyper Techno with really hard dances ;; But not to say Circle groups can't make hard dances... DIE HARD / DJ SICK & DR D.O.P.E. is one of the biggest bitches in the world...Mikaeru wrote: Is it just me, or, like, even within individual songs, it seems to only range from incredibly simplistic routines to OMGWTFCOMPLICATED routines?

2 DJ Zorro songs is three too many. D:
And also a big yaaay for Shout! I heard in on a webcast a while back, and it was awesomecool!
But this being a 'Mission Style', it's going to be a dvd-only again? ):
Also Blue Scorpion being Fastway... I think it's possible. It's a name I think he would use. :P (not confirming anything here)

Here's some samples of songs! Shout is from the webcast you're talking about, while Walk On Fire was recorded while it was playing in a club (which is why it's kinda cruddy):
