One of the first quintessential mainstream Animes in the states, with notable success in the UK and elsewhere, Ranma ½ holds a place deep in many anime fans' hearts. Few people can resist the combination of comedy, romance and action.

The only thing I truly despise about the show is the HORRIBLE Parapara remix the 1st Season OP got on ParaParaMax 3. BLARGH! I could do better than that, and that's saying something.

Anyone else's thoughts on everyone's favorite aquatranssexual?

I saw the first 12 episodes years ago and thought it was interesting, but never continued it...

First 12? Oh, believe me, they get funnier and even MORE interesting around Seasons 5 and 6. SOME of the 3rd & 4th seasons get really funny; however, the animation is all-time low at those points. Whatever you can get with Richard Ian Cox's dubbing is usually a good season for comedy and romance. Action stays pretty consistently awesome all throughout.
