Here's a question for you... when did you start following Super Eurobeat series?

With me, I started following the series, religiously, when 131 was released back in 2002 (got that seems so long ago. lol) The songs from the 130-139 era have a soft spot in my heart, including the following:

(This list will be huge, sorry. XD)

Go Go Girls - Baby I'm Your Lady
Oda - Sex Crime
Norma Sheffield - Sweet Love
Dave & Karen - Contact
Monique - Time Is On My Side
Leslie Parrish - One Kiss
Matt Land - Kiss Me Before Midnight

Dave & Domino - Click Your Heart
Lolita - Jolie
Nuage - Baby Get My Fire Tonight
Cherry - Sing Song
Mickey B. - Let The Rain
Marko Polo - Cyberdance Technotrance

Lolita - Beautiful Day
Matt Land - Don't Stop Me
Brain Ice - Ev'ry Night
Karen - Open Your Heart 4 Another Story
De La Vega - Sex On Fire
Norma Sheffield - Stay
Dave & Domino - Forever

Mad Max - Sex And Love
Go Go Girls - Gimme The Count
The Spiders From Mars - Far Away
Cherry - Kisses
Mega NRG Man - In The Night

Matt Land - Promises
Susy Wender - Look In Your Eyes
King & Queen - Fly Into The Moonlight
Ace Warrior - Fight For Love Tonight
Monique - Ev'rybody Can Dance
Tokyo Future - Da Burning Tokyo
Norma Sheffield - Sweet Heart

Lolita - Far And Away With Love
The Spiders From Mars - To Be Or Notta Be
Domino - Hey Mr. Dee Jay
Karen - Never Let You Go
Powerful T - Fall In The Web Of Desire

Nuage - It's Holiday
Digital Planet - West End Guy
Lolita - Don't You Want My Heart
Marko Polo - Stop Your Self Control
Norma Sheffield - For A Crazy Love
Dynamika - Passion
Matt Land - Here I Am

Though, seeing I was just a newbie to the genre and had no idea where to buy the albums, I use to downloaded them. There was a guy on a ParaPara forums that was active prior to ParaParaStage's forums, and he would post the albums a week after every release. I started purchasing SEB albums when 141 was released.

So, what about you? I want to see people who have followed the SEB series way earlier than me @ 131. Comeon, there should be lots of people. :3

Iteresting question. Really got me thinking.Actually the very first SEBs I got were your fav vol. 77. The one with the chick with CUM all over her face 8) I got it specifically to have TENSION - I'm On Fire and 81(for Vanessa's TIME song) After that one I have gone as far as Number 001( Took me a few years to track it down and a Pretty penny), but I also did it to have my 12's on CD quality. So yeah, I have quite a few SEBs

I started listening to random eurobeat probably when 147/148 came out. It wasn't really until the late 150s that I started collecting the albums.

Late 120s. I can't recall which album it was exactly though.

Same, but started with 160 (a countdown megamix, how awesome :P)

I'd have to say it was as late at the early 150s, when I started obsessively paying attention to eurobeat releases. :P

Not the best era to start with, I know, but at least it makes everything else seem like gold, in comparisson!

Vol.9, really! But in those days, 12" were much easier to get outside Japan, so I used to buy records and not so many SEB volumes.

I started to listen to Eurobeat in 2001 but didn't really purchase my first album till SEB 132 and 138 at the same time. After that I purchased 141 (when I got my Visa Check Card lol...) and from there on I kept purchasing.

Same here. As always, I was shopping around for Eurobeat cds like Eurobeat
Fantasy, That's Eurobeat, Best Disco or single cds of Eurobeat songs at
the Eurobeat area in Tower records America-mura, then an unfamiliar
cheapie cover caught my attention. That was SEB vol.9. *lol*

My first full Eurobeat album was SEB 156, which was worth it alone for the awesome 2love, 4love. Of course, I'd had exposure to Eurobeat before then in DDR, but hadn't paid a massive amount of attention until I stumbled across 156 purely by accident (can't even remember where I found it now - some Russian-based mp3 website I think :D

Hmm I can't honestly remember the exact album I hopped on the SEB bus. I do remember reading some rumors about upcoming Lolita songs in the 130s which I kept on waiting eagarly for at the time (well I still do).
My guess is somewhere around 131-134.

The first new SEB I purchased at the time was SEB 158, and I've bought all the new ones religiously since then (so end of the month is now not only pay day, but SEB day too :D)

However, I've since collected >100 older SEB CDs!

Hmmm... I know I started BUYING SEB with the 140's. Although I got the odd Initial D cd before that. I'm fairly certain I started listening shortly after PPP7/Euromach Final came out, but for the longest time I only paid attention to stuff that came from the PPP series for the longest time. Or fanmade parapara videos (ahh, HKPPC...). So it might have BEEN with the 140s that I actually started listening to SEB as a series, as opposed to individual songs.

The first album I bought was SEB 44... I found it in a record store in the city where I study in the Netherlands. (now exchange student in Germany)

The first song I heard was probably some Inital D song. Maybe not, I can't remeber well... :D
