Wild Reputation / Black Power

I was listening to Maio & Co /
Black Power, and I was astounded at how much of a rip it is of Big Brother /
Wild Reputation - right down to identical chord sequence, very similar sound synths in the instrumentals, drum usage - really only the lyrics and melody make them in any way distinct. I had wondered if the two songs shared any writers or producers, but they really don't.
So I'm forced to wonder just how often EB producers go around ripping each other's songs off

We've already seen it more recently with Time's production of
Bad Bad Bad and its incredible similarities with Delta's
Boom Boom Fire, but the two I mentioned above are an even bigger example.
Anyone else found songs from
different EB labels which are incredibly similar?

Hrhm I had never noticed the identical features in Boomerang & Let Me Be Your Baby but now that you mentioned it does sound rather obvious...

both songs though, also a reminder that Boomerang should be released as a full version on the extended discs ;C

I must be deaf but I never can hear the similarities with Boom Boom Fire and Bad Bad Bad. Even on 180 (was it 180? I forgot) when they actually sung the lyrics of Boom Boom Fire to Bad Bad Bad's music... I still don't understand how it's the same.

This is only semi-related. People tended to rip on Cherry's "Abracadabra" remake of the Steve Miller song, but how do those people feel about Go Go Girls - "My Sweet Banana", which ALSO rips the Steve Miller song wholesale during the chorus?
I also agree with Nine about "Bad Bad Bad". I see where some people are going to say it's the same song as Boom Boom Fire, but they split off in different places. Bad Bad Bad isn't nearly as dynamic of a song.

I'm 100 % sure the 'mister' Maiolini' isen't a very good friend of Pasquini.
So that whole story of ending ABEATC and go back to Time is a nice joke!
And if you look at the back of the "Black power" sleeve, 'ALEPH' is mentioned anyway. Those where the 'times' that the relationship between the two gentlemen was good.
Ciao,
Ronald.

Rather than list a bunch of other songs, I'll just say that these kind of similiarities is what I love about Eurobeat
I just can't resist:
Cherry- Too Cool To Fall In Love
Virgin- All Your Love
Baby One- USA
Vanessa- You Don't Give Me Love(only the main hook)
Dan Harrow- Future Brain
Atrium- Side Side
Must stop

And of course rather recently
Pamsy - Once Upon A Time ----> Mr.M - The World Is You
Also to a slight degree because of the lyrics
The Trammps - Disco Inferno ----> Fastway - 1234 Fire!

Some songs maybe only the senior citizens know:
Tom Hooker - Looking For Love -> Alphatown - Body Rock (also a descendant of F.C.F. Bad Desire)
Novecento - Movin' On -> Jenny Kee - New Love
(no, I can't resist bringing up the beautiful voice of Dora Carofiglio once more! Dora, I miss you!

Pretty obvious
Exciteable / Mako

C-melodies are almost identical.

If we're going to include non-EB-label rips, then:
Donna Summer /
I Don't Wanna Get Hurt --> Kelly Wright /
How Deep Is Your Love
