Preliminary info is out (courtesy of HMV Japan)...

Discs: 1
Release date: 07 May 2008
Catalogue no.: AVCD10187
Price: 2300yen

If this info is to be believed, Avex have dropped the 2nd disc, but also reduced the price per album significantly (probably in line with only having 13 tracks as well). A shame to see the second disc go (I was looking forward to more extendeds!) but this isn't a surprise given Avex's decision to drop the price - something had to give!

Track List:

01. HELLO HELLO! / DELTA QUEENS [Delta]
02. LITTLE DESIRE / ANNALISE [A-Beat C]
03. MOVE ON NOW BABY / MEGAN [Sinclaire Style]
04. BABY DON'T LEAVE ME / RICK CASTLE [Hi-NRG]
05. CAN CAN WORLD / MAKKERONI [E2 Dance]
06. SECRET DESTINATION / MARI-SAN [?]
07. I NEED YOUR LOVE 2008 / DE LEO [Time]
08. MAGICAL / MATT LAND [A-Beat C]
09. VAMOS A BAILAR / COO COO [Saifam]
10. LOVE IS A PRETENDER / PAMSY [SCP]
11. RUN AWAY / DANY [Time]
12. SPITFIRE / GO 2 [SCP]
13. SUN CITY 2008 / DAVE RODGERS [A-Beat C]

Label breakdown:

A-Beat C: 3
Delta: 1
E2 Dance: 1
Hi-NRG: 1
Saifam: 1
SCP: 2
Sinclaire Style: 1
Time: 2
?: 1

Well it's not really that surprising Avex took the second disc away. They've already tried it twice before, each time for about 10 or so albums. If SEB is still around in 4-5 years, we'll probably see the second disc return for an equal length.

Besides, aren't extendeds on the first disc enough?

Jesus christ... Already?
Avex is really bad for dropping he 2nd CD
Only 13 extends doesn't help neither.

Well, I did rather mean extendeds of old songs - there's still a lot of Euromach-era stuff that hasn't yet seen release outside of maybe vinyl. Anyway, it's quite possible Avex could have something lined up for 191-199, much as they did with 91-99's History Of SEB series. We'll see! :)

Well, one can get extendeds at Juno. I-Tunes and Mo-mu, so I guess they would drop it sooner or later. Thier mixes suck and thier remixes suck even more, So I really don't have a problem with it :|

I'm not mad at the drop of the second disc since that's happened several times in the past, but after that crappy Disc 1 change, I'm still not looking forward to this.

This is true, I guess HMV just doesn't have the proper info yet. :)

The price decrease to 2300 yen does suggest this will be the first album where they switch to 13 extendeds over 18 radio edits (I can't imagine how they'd otherwise justify such a price drop that large without decreased licensing costs).

The official SEB site confirmed that with 187 the 13 song extended change will occur, disregarding the notice in the 185 booklet saying it was to happen in 186.

Glad to hear that's true after saying it on the SEPH blog and on PPS XD With my limited Japanese skills I was trying to make it out so yesterday I brought the booklet to Japanese class and my teacher's assistant was very confused.

She was saying the japanese written was confusing and didnt understand what they were talking about because she had no idea what yu-ro-bi-to and pa-ra was XD

CDJapan has an rather strange description for it...
CDJapan wrote:Looking towards its 190th release, the Super Eurobeat series returns with an even more carefully selected blend of extended versions of today's best Eurobeat tracks including works from SEF Deluxe, 9LoveJ, Star Fire, and more!

Oh well, my wallet thinks the price drop is very welcome. ;P And I'll just see whatever happens. ^^

No no no XD

They're ParaPara club events in Japan that do the choreography for the "official" ParaPara dances that people learn.
