Hot Rimit FTW. By the way, for those not in the know, the whole "We Drink Ritalin" title and joke come from THIS piece of flash animation, almost as popular as "Lol Internet" (which featured "Running in the 90's").Lebon14 wrote:Bought "I Drink Ritalin" (Just can't get over the Engrish XD) and Exotic Japan today. Probably the only songs I will buy from Vibration/Eurobeat Masters.

Three more Eurobeat Masters releases today - given how few there are in total we can't be far off having all of them, if not already! ...
EM 018: Judy & Priscilla - Love & Love
EM 019: Melissa - Shine
EM 024: John & Rose - The Window

Hearbreaker and Mad Music are also quite nice. I'll probly pick em up as well.
I can hardly believe that the Piscilla from Dancing is the same gilr who sings Colour My Love? I don't dig that hyped sound at all. The rest are probly for someone else, but not me.[/quote]

Totally agree right here. In fact quite a few of those tracks like Fantasy, Shine and Melody and the above said have a particualr TIME- like sound to them. I hear that classical/Operaish vibe form Elena's songs, just not as accoustic. Wonderful songsI Love U Babe is another personal favourite of mine - more melodic and gentle but I love the production!

While I did enjoy the overall melody of that song. Probly one of my favorite Italo melody's ever. It remeind me of Mike Freeman- What is Real among others; I still can't get used to those newer soundworlds. Particularly the percussion and it's snare drums. Too cluby for my taste. As a side note, slightly off-topic as it is not a LED song: Wildside "Take A Chance" (80's Dance remix) is on Juno as well. Very nice version, close to italo. http://www.junodownload.com/products/1324539-02.htm
I can't believe it either... is she?drnrg wrote:I can hardly believe that the Piscilla from Dancing is the same gilr who sings Colour My Love? I don't dig that hyped sound at all. The rest are probly for someone else, but not me.
I couldn't agree more! I don't like the percussion either. The song is good - for a 21st Century songdrnrg wrote:While I did enjoy the overall melody of that song. That was the problem I had with the label... the compositions were good, most of the time, but I didn't like the sounds. At least some of the I Venti versions on the early releases had true eurobeat percussion sounds!

I'm trying to remeber some right now. Wasn't there a song by Gianni Corraini called EveryTIME on that label? It still had a Haddaway vibe to it, but was not bad at all. I even bought that vinyl. The only one I own from that label. I remember Radioama and Ian Lex on that label as well. Anyway the Iventi charts sure seemed to pimp that label. That was around the TIME when Italo fused into Eurobeat and became too fast for Europeans.I couldn't agree more! I don't like the percussion either. The song is good - for a 21st Century song

Wow what a list. The ones that really jumped out at me were David- Black Night and Rita Hollywood- Crazy Tokyo Night. I don't remeber ever hearing them, but then again when in mix form they just go by unoticed. A lot of those songs could have easily been on TIME records judging by the melodies. Well, Here we go again (Pulls out credit card)
