Here's hoping that Saifam's track is either Diabolik or anything by Melody Castellari - I'll be disappointed if they wind up with another Mauro Farina song - so far it seems like Avex is showcasing Saifam's variety based only upon him and nobody else.

And that's a problem - it really isn't displaying much variety, especially when we have awesome tracks like Stormy Weather and now Diabolik in the catalogue!

If Avex choose another cliched Eurobeat-by-numbers song by Mauro, I'll scream!! Not sure what I'm talking about? Try singing the chorus to Gengis Khan (another Mauro Saifam track) over the Vamos A Bailar chorus...

Gengis Khan is actually sung by Melody Castellari, but yeah.

EDIT: Okay, Across The Universe is no longer on Saifam's website - does this mean Avex has taken it for 189? This is probably not a sign that things are gonna change anytime soon.

That's your opinion, but I thought those were some of the better Saifam songs.

As for female songs. I think they do better with songs like "Oh World" as opposesd to that too- happy sounding melodies.

I know it's probly too old, but I would like to see Like A Speedy Car on SEB., but since that is not happening, then my vote goes for Diabolike. Awesome vocals.

I agree Tekno Samurai is a great song but D1 Grand Prix is the prime example of rehash laziness. They did what? Change the lead synth and the lyrics, other than that they are the same song.

Are you kidding? New Go Go Girls song is awesome since there hasn't been one since Nothing Can Stop The Music on 159. Dream Fighters is probably Dima btw since Dream Fighters were on FARM releases. The Phil And Linda track might be good though since it's the last song on release, just have to wait I guess

Danny Rock is definitely Saifam. I've marked Dream Fighters as Dima as well. Momo and Tora remain a mystery, but we haven't had any Sinclaire Style yet so maybe one of them is him? He hasn't updated his catalogue with any new EB songs though so it's hard to tell.

Oh, and since Spirit Go Wild is being rumoured for this album, perhaps we can consider Mu-Mo's 5-track listing for SEB 188 to be false now? Who knows?

1. PEOPLE OF THE WORLD - GO GO GIRLS 5:06 [A-Beat C/GGM?] - About time for this - probably one of the only tracks worth mentioning.
2. BALALAIKA VODKA & ROCK N’ROLL - MAD COW & THE TVERSKAYA STR. GIRLS 4:29 [Hi-NRG] - Pretty typical HRG Russian appearance - could be good.
3. MY LONELY NIGHT - JIMMY DIAMOND 6:43 [Delta] - Jimmy Diamond's vocals are a bit rough, so this needs to be really good to work.
4. FROM HEARTACHE TO HEAVEN - MOMO 5:18 - Possibly SinclaireStyle?
5. FEEL IT IN YOUR HEART - ANNALISE 4:43 [A-Beat C] - Probably not anything special...
6. FLAME AND FIRE - TORA 4:57 - See From Heartache To Heaven.
7. HEARTBREAK - DANNY ROCK 5:16 [Saifam] - Ugh god, Mauro AGAIN? I already even own this track, and it's not even a standout - basically just a rehash of Loveline. A waste of a Saifam slot, period.
8. BAD BOY - RICK CASTLE 4:22 [Hi-NRG] - Already on Super GT 2008, and we were just treated to new Rick Castle.
9. DANCE DANCE - CHERRY 5:25 [Delta] - Meh, I hate these pointless rock covers that translate awkwardly into eurobeat. I don't even want to envision what this will end up like...
10. BABY TAKE ME HIGH - NUAGE 4:39 [A-Beat C] - I guess this is an older recording or something, either way probably nothing too fascinating compared to her earlier works.
11. SPIRIT GO WILD - THE SNAKE 5:00 [SCP] - A double-dose of The Snake might actually work tbh, since they're a new title still really trying to fit in with the eurobeat scene. Who knows, this could be great.
12. STORMBRINGER - DREAM FIGHTERS 5:22 [Dima] - I like Dima, so this could be good!
13. YOU GIVE ME MORE - PHIL AND LINDA 5:29 [Time] - It wasn't a good idea to end 164 with Phil & Linda, and it's most likely the same for 189.

HUGE disappointent especially about Saifam's track - I'm starting to think Avex has a vendetta against poor Melody Castellari now.
