I swear I've heard a pop-rock song on the radio whose melody and lyrics sound very much like Kate Rush - One Day. Is One Day a cover? If not, it must be a ripoff/plagiarism.
I don't know about Pop Rock, but Eddy Huntington's - Meat My Friend and Derreck Simon- I Wanna Be Free carry the same riff just a bit slower.

Somebody already mentioned My Sweet Banana being a rip-off of Abracadabra - I happened to hear the original by the Steve Miller Band the other day! :)

^ My God, you're right. I hadn't ever connected the two together.

Strangely I hadn't even read the My Sweet Banana link when I heard the Steve Miller Band song...

I was listening to the radio in the car on the drive home from work and went "WTF? Why does this sound familiar?"

Took me two days humming it over before I finally realised I was humming a Eurobeat song! ;)

That's hilarious concidering that Abra Cadabra came out in 1982. :D

Boy Meets Girl - Waiting For a Star To Fall => Nathalie - I Remember Why I Love You (the intro tune is a near note-for-note copy of the former's chorus)

Sergio Mendes - Never Gonna Let You Go => Wildside/Kate Project - In My Arms

Lolita - Try Me => Garcon - On The Top Again

Exactly...but I can't help but feel that the melody from Garcon's song sounds so damn familiar.

Well, HRG has a tendency to recycle the same melody and sounds fairly often, so I wouldn't be surprised if you're experiencing déjà vu.

One of the most obvious ones for me is the following trio:

-When I Close My Eyes (Cherry)
-All Around (Lia)
-In My Arms (Kate Project)

The piano intro is virtually the same in all of them. They're just in different keys. Is there some connection to some previous non-eurobeat song with these?

Well, In My Arms is a remake of a eurodance song by Wildside. When The Sun Goes Down/Ken Blast sounds even more similar to it.

Kevin Johnson's "You Light My Fire" also sounds just like "Maybe Tonite."

This was probably said in the 202 thread buuuuut TL:DR

Go Go Girls - My Hot Guitar -> Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water

This isn't Eurobeat but close enough XD

DJ Zorro - Cowboys From Hell -> Guns N Roses - Sweet Child O Mine

The guitar in the B-Melo is a total copy of the famous guitar riff from that song hahahaha.
