Haha, pretty obvious where the inspiration for that cover art came from! :P

Haha yeah, but this one does have the volume number in the front! hahaha

True, but it's still same style that was used during the 190's, which also had the numbers, and in basically the same font as seen here.

need a little more info' So is this like regular Eurobeat, sang in english, but just from independent labels and artists, right? I got no problem with indi Eurobeat so long as it 's sung in english and sounds like Eurobeat.
BTW, that cover sux so bad, no inspiartion at all.

...and will there be samples too..

It's a parody; the model is dressed up as one of the characters. It'd be like seeing Christopher Walken with a pair of Mickey Mouse ears, for those familiar with the Touhou games. (Select the text if you want the joke explained/spoiled)

Sugano, DJ Command and RAYTO are the few people making 'real' eurobeat in Japan. Reference of their names gives me great assurance.

Hey, hold on now. While I agree that Sugano, DJ Command and RAYTO are really doing well in the Eurobeat world, it ignores plenty of groups in Japan making Eurobeat right now (in fact, many of them are also doing Touhou-related remixes). SOUND-HOLIC, SYNC.ARTS and similar circles are still putting out pretty darn good stuff, and those are just two off the top of my head.

Most of these vocalists sound really bad.

I'd say (V) sounds most like The Eurobeat Vocalists I've come to love.

Travis sounds great on Faithful Heart. and that Axel K. guy is passable.

What's good about this cd are the riffs, but still a bit too fast for my style.

It had to be here huh, Well, Great release and love that cover too!.

The only samples I didn't like are 朱花 (I say, 5 year olds should be banned from singing eurobeat) and Zoupzuop2's (Sorry!), The rest are typical (The only reason I'm interested is because it's freakin Touhou) but those riffs are great. Definitely on a must buy list.

Travis, in China Gal your voice makes me think alot of Norm Schiavone! :)
Overall, these CDs sound pretty good to me :)

I think I already said in the other thread that I wanted this CD soooooo much. As a matter of fact, I e-mailed Sugano about it. Hehehe. I hope he answers positively because I want so much to listen to the full tracks!

C'mon I hope that they'll be able to sell it on CDJapan so the people who don't have contacts into Japan are able to buy it :)

This is labeled as a Doujin release... so do I get some delicious Tohou doujinshi with my cd?
