Not released on SEB yet but released this year I believe are:
ARD 1385 Dance Boom Boom / Tipsy & Tipsy
http://www.saifam.com/download/index.cf ... _BOOM_BOOM
ARD 1386 Happy Toyboys / Cartoon
http://www.saifam.com/download/index.cf ... PY_TOYBOYS
ARD 1387
So Close To The Heaven / Mela
ARD 1388 Lullaby / Sarah
http://www.saifam.com/download/index.cf ... AH/LULLABY
Lullaby is pretty good in my opinion. It sounds a lot like VIP Mega Euro Star days possibly. However, I can't believe they're doing a jenny rom eurobeat remake. It doesn't sound too fresh either.
Decided to make this topic because the other saifam thread was just for junodownload and they don't upload their newest songs there the fastest. However, I guess Lullaby is up at
http://www.junodownload.com/products/lu ... 786786-02/ soon. The other songs in this thread are not on juno though.

Dance Boom Boom and Happy Toyboys are both covers. Lullaby is pretty cool for the most part, but the chorus sounds a lot like Japanese Girl (not the Ken Martin one), which I really don't like. I do like So Close To The Heaven, though. It's not the best song in the label's catalogue, but it's certainly a breath of fresh air to get something original for once.

Dance Boom Boom and So Close To Heaven are AMAZING! Can't wait to see if they get released on SEB.

Pfffft. Avex will ask them to do 80s movie covers again. We all know this. P:

What is Dance Boom Boom a cover of?
Also, I edited OP because I typed "So Close To Heaven" instead of "So Close To The Heaven." Sorry
edit: a comment by marcus on ENATIME indirectly says that japanese boy / lolly 'o (
http://www.junodownload.com/products/ja ... 341270-02/ ) chorus sounds a lot like Lullaby. I think the riff does too. The style is pretty similar as well.

I think that's what #Infinity was referring to above as well, although he mentioned Japanese Girl instead of Japanese Boy...
Anyway, So Close To The Heaven was by far the best of this bunch, as it had just a hint of the old-style Asia tracks that used to dominate SEB for me (around the 160's in particular) and it was the most original. More of this please!!
I believe Dance Boom Boom is a remake of the Housecream track (unsurprisingly from another Saifam label, 21st Century Records) - link here

Now that sounds deliciously oldskool

So Close To The Heavens was originally performed by Libra, a eurodance track with a truly amazing intro. However this Asia-version sounds much more energetic than the original 21st Century song from 2000.

These are really good, been quite a while since Saifam released anything that sounded remotely as catchy and unique. Getting Dance Boom Boom on SEB would be a nice way to lift up their image a bit.

Such a shame that even this track is a cover, although I still enjoy the Mela version. I hope it gets on SEB.

SIGH... Guess that means all four of them are covers, then. I had some hope for a moment.
I'm sorry, but although these covers are kind of cool, I really don't feel like I can take Saifam seriously anymore until they actually make some new songs. Over the past couple of years, we've gotten a grand total of
one new eurobeat song from them (Little Lies), and everything else has been a cover of some sort. It makes me sad really, considering how much I
adore the Asia sublabel's original work throughout the years.

'Dance Boom Boom' sounds like something you'd hear in an aerobics class, heh. Weird song.
I agree that these are a nice bunch of songs, but how freaking hard is it for Saifam to make something original for a change? Five to six years ago, Saifam was the label to be reckoned with by pumping out amazing original tunes like 'Domino', Black UFO' and 'Like A Fire', and I still find it perplexing how quickly this label ran out of creativity and how long this dry spell has lasted.

Five years is a long time mang. It's possible that the producers are just outright tired.
And Saifam is easily NOT the first/only one right now!!
