Denise - Emotional Fire
When I hear this one I hear all the reasons why early Delta tracks were instantly memorable and classic. It's also a great example on just how much lyrics can contribute to a song. Especially the immortal YOU'VE GOT TO GET OUT FROM MY DREAMS
DANGEROSS! GOT TO FESS DE RESS!

I'll be putting two tracks today since I've been playing them pretty heavily recently.
Today's song(s):
Higher & Higher / Lolita
Everybody Dance / Lolita
Basically Elena Gobbi at 99 albums difference. The opening to both tracks themselves (esp the former) are enough to trounce most of her GGM Lolita tracks.
Also, I was listening to Namie Amuro's cover of 'Try Me' one day and it got me thinking that there was a time in the 1990's when eurobeat was much more 'active' and was indirectly 'mainstream' in Japan, a time when people's attitude towards the genre was much higher. I wonder if it could ever happen again...

Mickey B. - I Wanna Run To You
Even though this is almost a copy of Lolita - Baby Tonight, it is a very good song
