Turn off the lights baby let's play a game
Tell me your secrets and I'll do the same
Sex is the mission so we can get high
Switch this position you're feeling alright
I've got to chew to kill
You catch me - invincible
If we're gonna do this way
It's gonna turn out wild
Erotic Chemistry
You make a play and I go in for you tonight
My secret fantasy
Let's burn it up and you touch me the right way
Erotic Fantasy
You got me idea let's get down off control alright
My secret chemistry
I'm burning up and you touch me tonight
There's passion inside me it's out of control
Go through your body straight into your soul
Love me or leave me - no time for romance
The show is on my baby come take a chance
The progress towards Hi-NRG Eurobeat sound in the songs by Mauro Farina and co. on That's Eurobeat in 1988/1989, was pretty slow and selective, while Derek Simon by Aleph is a sudden, brave detachment from Italo Disco, a real breakthrough from which we can follow next growing progress.
This track was released in Italy on 12'' vinyl, on 7'' vinyl in Japan, all together in 1988. One of the very first publishers interested italian dance music took this song also on one of very first ever pressed 3'' CD Mini Singles, which today is the most expensive CD of that period !
I wish that Dave Rodgers could imagine and understand the importance of this production and its popularity around the world, what I think he rather doesn't...

Back when Sugano used to arrange the tracks for Travis, they sound soo much different than his own arrangements.
His style is so hard compared to Sugano's (arrangements for Travis) which is so soft (melody and basswise) than Travis' but every track is still a vocal masterpiece.

I understand what you mean. Still, also FCF had its share of faster songs in 1988. By the way, I always though this song has some similarities to Tom Cat - Black Jack (especially the intro).

Seriously, as far as I remember, I can mention maybe 2 titles I would call a little bit faster in 1988, same for Aleph contribution in Asia Records, that's why I feel Derek Simon "Dance With Me" released in late summer of 1988 was a milestone not just in terms of tempo, but creating sublime Hi-NRG/Eurobeat, which Asia really began in 1989.
Now when you realize that since 29 years nobody still made again such original emotional sound, while it's the best proper time to refuse other unsuccessful influences in Eurobeat.
