That's a great song indeed!
Annabelle - Walking In The Moon Light (Disco Energy)
Okay, this song is not really that crazy or out-of-this-world, but since February, this song has just left me intrigued. What makes this one-and-done from the newer end of the TIME Records catalog so mesmerizing? Is it the vocals? The slow but mysterious Sabi? The eerie feel of the song in general? I just can't decide. This song is not the best of that era of TIME Records, but just leaves me in a state of deep thought after every listen. Why? I don't have a clue.
Dang, this song brings in a close third for Eurobeat beat drops. Just behind Go²'s Spitfire and Matt Land's Magical (Which are coincidentally on the same SEB Album - SEB 187). This really is some of the best that SunFire Records could offer. Great chrous, energetic sabi, great beat drop, nice sampling jobs, and the second beat drop near the end just gives this song its cherry on top.
And because the EUROBEAT拡張 channel has been down for several months before this point, I have not been able to hear this song among many others. What a great surprise to finally hear it again!
Now this is good. Great female vocals, a modest and sensible pace, a great - but short - chorus, a fun and simple sabi, a bubbly and unique feeling all around, what else could you associate with summer?
