How long do Super Eurobeat cds stay in production before reaching OOP status?

All Japanese music CDs have a date on the back, on the very bottom which tells you until when they are in production. It's kind of a neat feature about Japanese CDs. I don't think you can ever get that info from an online music download. Anything after that date means they will no longer make any more new copies of that CD.

I just checked my SEB222 CD and it says 13.9.19まで so production stops after roughly half a year or so.

The SEB221 CD says 13.7.22 so that pretty much confirms that they produce the CD's for about half a year after release.

I'm curious whether the first, much older releases were also in production for the same time range.
Would you happend to have any access to the back covers of any of the volumes from 1-30?

I am also very curious about production range for Eurobeat released on vinyls...I am not sure whether Japanese vinyls have that date on the back of them as well.

However, it'll still be available quite a bit after that because the copies won't be all sold out. However, when there won't be any left, yeah...

No production dates on the older SEB CD's. I checked 1, 10 and 30 and they only have the release date.

As far as vinyls go, I have a few late 90's Delta records but since they're produced in Italy there's no OOP date on those either.

The oldest one I have that had the date was SEB 36, and it says it was in production for 2 years. Until SEB 73, they were on the obi, though my SEB 25 obi doesn't have that either.

For whatever the reason; vinyls were treated differently than cds. I checked various of my vinyls from different lables and found no other date ,except the date of publishing on the back. Nothing on the actual vinyl either.

However I think vinyls were pressed in waves. meaning the first 50 or so included the sleeves with the cover art. The second wave just a generic one tone color sleeve and still the 3rd wave were someTIMES even pressed on a different distributing label.

Loading bay records from London was known to press many TIME and Asia songs on thier own label years after they were originally released. Example if a Vanessa song was popular on the Ivent charts; let's say "Why Did You Break My Heart"; then it wouldn't be surprising to see "Just A Game" or "Be My Lady" on the flipside. This was great for collectors like me that missed out on those vinyls the first TIME around.

There are allways those special edition vinyl pressings. I have many from TIME with two songs. Example. Danny Kieth on one side and Rudy & Company on the other. I have one from Asia with Mike Hazzad on one side and Sara on b-side. It had no sleeve art but that little critter with the label logo. I later paid another 20 dollars for the sleeves with the art, but you get my point.

I'll tell you one thing. I'm such a vinyl fanatic that if I was to somehow get my hands on a vinyl pressing machine. I would turn all my extended mp3s into vinyls. No sale just personal collection purposes.
