Most of these were unlistenable to me. I really don't think Japanese vocals go well with Eurobeat at all. Most of the previews were too fast to even enjoy. mini review. I'll make it short to spare these songs of too much negativivty. There are a few I like, but I feel nothing will ever touch me like "Faithful Heart" did. Once again, what I absolutely detest is the lazziness of this series to not come with artist names for the songs. The ones that do have, are actually pretty cool, but the rest. Shame on you :-x

1. Play The Game.
Interesting melody and nice synth riff, but vocals ruin it.

2. Don't Break Me Down.
Too fast. Sounds like a decent sunth riff resides under all those layers, but again; horrible vocals ruin it.

3. Wanna Be My Dream.
Like the synth riff. The vocals are passable ,but just barely.
:|

4. Get It Done- Phantom Ensemble
japanese vocals actually don't sound too bad on this preview. I think I could like this song and it has a very cool sounding riff.
:)

5. Everyday Everynight
This Travis on synths. Another highlight. Her vocals are actually heading up in another direction instead of typical Japanese tone. I like the way she sounds.

6. Speedy Night.
The guys vocals fit the speed and style of the song and I absolutely love the synth riff. Sounds very Gino Caria-ish at his AbeatC days.
8)

7. Shoot The Lights.
More releaxed in melody, but I like it. The japanese vocals sound right at home. I think I will really like this song.
8)

8. Life Is Over- Cosmic Mind
Travis again. Good melody. The guys vocals are so-so, but I actually think his accent is a plus. I wish I could hear more of that riff.
:D

9. Japanes Title - Yassie
Horrible. Too Fast to the point of unlistenable. I laugh when people say cartoonish to HRG Attack female vocals. This whole production is a throw away cartoon. I'm sorry, but this is a type of song that screams of those japanese girl animi charatcers. Where is the stop button?

10. Right Or Wrong- Lunatic Princess
Too many of these songs follow this melody. Nothing sdtands out. I like the artist name, even though its a guy singing. reminds me of the 80's with Divine and Fancy
:(

11. Fall Into The Magic - Candid Friend
This is the guys whose vocals are not too bad. Good riff. Very good riff.
:)

12. Real Survivor - Evening Star
The japanese vocals stick out like a sopre thumb. Ruins it for me.

drnrg... you better stay out of Japan for Eurobeat material. In Japan it's super fast + badly pronounced English (can't blame them, at least they try!) or Japanese lyrics. My bet is that most titles are 160BPM+. And 170BPM+ is not an uncommon thing either! So, if 130BPM is your confortable zone, you better forget go back in the past right now because, how I see it, Japan will only increase BPM with time.

Also, the Japanese title is "Minna de Oozora MAGIC".

Comprehensive tracklist! (artist = vocalist)

01. Aki - Play The Game (Originally "Play my game", Original artists: Shihori (female ver.), Axel.K (male ver.). Remix by DJ Command) [166BPM]

02. Koshida Rute Ryuuto - Don't Break Me Down (Original: Axel.K, Remix by Elementas) [171BPM]

03. Aki - Wanna Be My Dream (Original: Shihori, Remix: FN2) [165BPM]

04. Koshida Rute Ryuuto - Get It Done (Original: Axel.K, Remix by: Katsu+Sumijun) [158 BPM]

05. Aki - Everyday Everynight (Original: Shihori, Remix: T. Stebbins) [160BPM]

06. Koshida Rute Ryuuto - Speedy Night (Original: Shihori (female ver.), axel.k (male ver.). Remix : DJ Command) [165BPM]

07. Aki - Shoot The Lights (Original: Shihori, Remix: FN2) [146BPM]

08. Koshida Rute Ryuuto - Life Is Over (Original: Axel.K, Remix: T.Stebbins) [168BPM]

09. Aki - Minna De Oozora MAGIC (Original artist: Shihori, Remix: Katsu+Sumijun) [180(HOLY SHIT)BPM] (Note: Original arrangement was not Eurobeat on album "Pod Jack")

10. Koshida Rute Ryuuto - Right Or Wrong (Original: Axel.K & Shihori, Remix: Elementas) [165BPM]

11. Axel.K - Fall Into The Magic (NEW TRACK) [163BPM]

12. Koshida Rute Ryuuto - Real Survivor (NEW TRACK) [163BPM]

So, yeah, drnrg, only TWO tracks in your confort zone! We even have a 180BPM Eurobeat track! (Which might be the fastest Eurobeat track, ever mind you!) Personally, I enjoy the speed very much!

The speed thing is very delicate. It's great when done right. It's not really the speed that I disliked, but the vocal work on some of the songs.160- 165 bpms is the Eurobeat norm now adays. Sounds just fine.
"Burning Up The Night" from Delta label was done right. Sinclaire, Dall Ora and HRG Attack can also do some incredible speedy tracks. The trick is in the vocals and how they are used. I don't think Japanese vocalists go with the flow for speedy Eurobeat tracks, but the Italians can do it with no problem.

That artist info helped out alot. At least I know now who sings.Made me realize that it is indeed the style of song that fits certain vocals. Aki is one example. I really liked her tone on tracks 5 & 7 , but she sounded like a cartoon on tracl 9.

Koshida Rute Ryuuto is another vocalist I would say I actually like. he sounded good on tracks 4, 8 and esp. 6. Once again it depends on the melody he follows.

Fair enough. Also understand that Japanese has more difficulty to sing in English than in Japanese. That's why they might not be "following the flow" just right. But for me, it's not a point in a song I'll be judging.

Track 9 might be the speediest Euro track ever but, at the same time... it's kind of a mess.

And, oh yes, "Burning Up The Night (Total Fire)" is freaking awesome!!!

I freaked out when I saw this; I've recently been listening to a lot of older A-One releases and love them, especially Life is Over. I'm liking almost all of what I hear, especially tracks 11 and 12. It's also nice to see Axel K. on this one, he's kind of been disappearing lately.
