I think mixes that gradually speed up (or vice versa) are the best. A single bpm the entire time can get monotonous.

I'm a dancer, and when I dance, I want to dance through the whole song so that it gets to start and end properly, and only then starts the next one. Luckily, many Eurovision DJs do it like that. As for listening, the case is even clearer.

Do what I do.

I'll just Start off with a fast vynil and mix the rest in. After I'm done with the mix; I'll slow it down on Audacity so all songs sound decent. The trick is to use the Audacty program function that slows down the vocals but not the music. You can do it on each song. Not Too fast or too slow, but just right. The vocals are the most important for me and like to keep them in tru form, but I also like a little speed and power to the mix. Try it, It's easier than it sounds. 8)
