It's fascinating, isn't it? It translates excellently. Makes me imagine more instances of an entire set-piece working the scores of some of our favorite Euro-Hits.

Nice find! I'd definitely listen to more songs like that. The healing remixes are the closest that I can think of right now, as well as the acoustic versions of Stephy Martini's Emotions and Kevin Johnson's Little Crush & Don't Say Goodbye

I love it just much as I loved some the healing versions. It's amazing to see how a different melody can adapt different shapes and become something so different yet with the same essence

Why not? I often do Take My Breath Away with the Healing version, for example, and Fantasy with the Japanese Works version. A few years back, I did a whole performance pieced together out of alternate versions:
