My reaction:
Yay, a new TEB! Highly... Responsive... To Prayers? The first ever Touhou game on PC98? This is unexpected. One would have thought that they would have gone to Ten Desire next, but I guess they decided to give some PC98 love (and vol.11 to through 15 will probably be the other games on PC98 too). Anyway.
I liked most of the song previews so it looks like it'll be a decent album! Looking forward to this!

Wow, lots of delicious productions and melodies here as ever - TEB seems to have a far higher hit rate than your average SEB for me now.
My faves from the samples were Gensou Ga Nari Yamanai, Love The Beat (the "Eurobeat!" shouts in the chorus are soooo cute) and Melty Love.

Didn't you realize yet? She actually sings "Love the beat". She sings it as "Rabu ze beat" where "ze" is barely audible (if at all). So, it grossely sound like "Eurobeat" overall. So, all and all, she makes it a pun.

No, she only sings "love the beat" at the start of the final line of the chorus. She goes:
Eurobeat!......
Raise the beat.....
Eurobeat!......
Raise my heart.....
Eurobeat!......
You and me......
Eurobeat!......
Love the beat......

We'll wait for the official lyrics, k?
Still, "Love Beat" is a pun for "Eurobeat" if pronounced like a Japanese.

Melodically they all sound great, but still the ones that I could really only get into 100% are Travis' two songs. No Guardian Angel and TIME Will Tell. They have the sing along factor. I do wish some of the newer SEB had synth riffs more along side of those on this ToHo Eurobeat cd..

QFT - you just don't get this punchy, sharp and energetic feel from enough songs on SEB anymore

I adore Travis and think he has a unique ear for original melodies and compositions, however I was underwhelmed with the samples for his tracks here. No Guardian Angel in particular is way too treble-heavy and is crying out for a meatier kick drum or stronger bass.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Travis' songs on the Toho Eurobeat series English covers of anime tracks?

Huh... wat. They are covers of Touhou tracks. Hence why it's on "Toho Eurobeat".
The first one is a crossover of two songs: Highly Responsive To Prayers (the song) and Touhou Kaikidan (Eastern Strange Discourse). You can hear them
here and
here respectively.
The second's original is called "Positives And Negatives". You can hear it
here

What specifically is Toho as it relates to this music series? I always just thought Toho was the Japanese brand that produced the Godzilla movies.
