I need help

Post by Technotik » 05 Mar 2015, 00:07

Hello guys

I've been listening to Eurobeat for about 5 years now and I guess I decided back a few years ago, I would try and make a song, well I'm still trying to do that and the more I try, the more I seem to fail.

I've been working on a song since December and I'd like it if you'd listen and tell me what I need to do because I sure as heck do not know. Off the top of my head, I know that I am struggling to make a Lead and I don't have any good basses (I use FL Studio btw) right now.

I'd really appreciate the help because I have been trying to crack the code for a while now and it aint happening.

I'll fix the link error.

I had no idea that was the case when it came to the lead and the bass. I've been using your synth1 bank for a couple of months now and its great.

I figured as much. I honestly do not know what the heck I'm doing and I feel like I'm starting to over think something which shouldn't be that hard to do.

EDIT: Its the Sabi that I causing me the biggest problem.

so...don't force yourself too much! just make music freely,it doesn't need to be eurobeat....

i see on your soundcloud page, you make alots of trance track...
you can use trance bass...why not?

and you want the sabi lead like this???
https://app.box.com/s/3i6uyk7m3uro3sunb1w5x4p3zvsp8sod

start from sawtooth, add some pitch envelope
compose lead melody in multiple octaves..(mostly 2 or 3)

in my bank, there is a patch called "Eurosaw[Vivid]"...try it!

I still can't get it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. For some reason, I can put together everything else, but not that.

Perhaps I do need to practice a bit. I for some reason cannot put together a riff that actually sounds right. I don't know why I'm struggling with this part.

single line is easy! but multiple octaves require some higher skills!
