Gotten a eurobeat song stuck in your head? Is your extended version not long enough for you? Well there's the answer?
What is this? - For when your favorite song just isn't long enough. This web app lets you upload a favorite MP3 and will then generate a never-ending and ever changing version of the song. It does what Infinite Gangnam Style did but for any song.

How does it work? - We use the Echo Nest analyzer to break the song into beats. We play the song beat by beat, but at every beat there's a chance that we will jump to a different part of song that happens to sound very similar to the current beat. For beat similarity we look at pitch, timbre, loudness, duration and the position of the beat within a bar. There's a nifty visualization that shows all the possible transitions that can occur at any beat.
Here's a sample, using Burning Like a Flame: http://labs.echonest.com/Uploader/index ... 4D14A15B2F

It seems like a cool idea on paper, but most songs I channel into it don't come out sounding right. The transitions between multiple phrases are so sloppily handled, causing the result to sound more like a broken record than an extended remix, even with more synthesized productions.

Yeah, it's far from perfect. I tried some death metal and it turned out real bad. I've been trying it on some Hi-NRG tracks and the results were much better. I had to save In Your Eyes, Experience and One More night:

We'll see if you can try it with radio edits of some songs...

comon guys get creative with an audacity progam. Not just cut and paste, but loop and repeat certain parts of a song and you can make your own extended. better than this crap.

Audacity FTW! And a good beginner like me analyzes the mixing platforms before making his/her own choice.

my only choice is to re-arrange whole track using my FL DAW!

The idea is good and all but it doesn't work so well… it's specially annoying, I may say, because transitions between parts are not so smooth
