How Do You Like the 150s so Far

Since Vol 151, the songs have changed. Based on many listenings, different styles can be heard. Please correct me if I am wrong.

80s Ballad / Pop
1) Ace "Moon Child"
2) Melissa White & Ace "Poison Of Love"

Eurotrance
1) Lucya "Beautiful"
2) Meri "Never Let You Down"

Europop
1) Stephy Martini "Emotions"
2) Van T.K. "Just Can't Get Enough"

Disco
1) Dave Simon "Disco Music"
2) King & Queen "Boogie Boogie"

Obligatory Covers

The only 3 studios stuck in a limbo are Delta (lesser degree), HI-NRG Attack and Vibration (from what I've heard so far). The best innovator is still SCP.

The questions are :
1) How do you like the new subgenres that appeared?
2) Which is your favourite subgenres?
3) Do you want more of this diversity in the future to come?

P/S I for one am loving SEB more and more. Makes the 130s hard to listen to, example I listened to 151 at least 10 times more than 139.

This is all in my humble opinion:

130 - 139 : Great stuff, but not a lot of memorable things.
140 - 149 : The best series in SEB history was the 140 era. So many great songs!
150 - 154 : 150 saved itself with the DVD, 151 was alright, 152 was horrible, 153 was even more horrible, and 154 was good enough.

The 130's left no impression on me...
140's pwned all...
150 was good for the DVD
151 was boring
152 was mediocre with some good songs (lollipop banana and Back To You)
153 I think is the best in the 150 series so far with songs like Emotions, Feel The Power, Boogie Boogie and Wings Into The Sky..
154... was a total let down with the exception of I Wanna Be Fat and Going Crazy (even though that one is really eurobeat)

80s Ballad / Pop
1) Ace "Moon Child"
2) Melissa White & Ace "Poison Of Love"
More pop than 80's. I hate Moon Child, Poison Of Love is quite good.
Eurotrance
1) Lucya "Beautiful"
2) Meri "Never Let You Down"
Well Lucya's song has some eurotrance vibes in it.. Meri's song sound more like airly eurobeat. Pamsy's songs are more like eurotrance.
Europop
1) Stephy Martini "Emotions"
2) Van T.K. "Just Can't Get Enough"
Stephy's song is pure pop.. not eurobeat at all.. Van TK's song is somewhat poppish eurobeat, but clearly eurobeat.
Disco
1) Dave Simon "Disco Music"
2) King & Queen "Boogie Boogie"
Boogie boogie is pure eurobeat, only name sounds like 70's disco song.
Disco music has pure 70's feeling.. at least in first 20 secs :) .

I don't have anything against the new and slower eurobeat but i liked more faster and agressive eurobeat.. ah.. those were the days

Forgot to mention that Dark Angels - Right Now was another very interesting and listenable branchoff...

..and I hope and hope and hope and hope that the covers never comes down to this:-

Go Go Girls feat. Beyonce, Pink and Britney Spears "We Will Rock You"
Lolita & Madonna - Like a Virgin

<On second thoughts the second one would be interesting with Lolita's & Madonna's version morphing in and out.. hmm...>

I think you meant Virginelle, but that's ok....

Frankly, I'm not too happy with the 150 series.... None of the albums have grabbed me like the earlier 100's... I still like 100-109 & 140-149.

Subgenre wise, I would love to hear more Dark Angels styles stuff. "Right Now" was a really awesome song & I loved the mix of punk rock + eurobeat. See! 147! ahhhh... the olden days of eurobeat....

I am in love with the 150's era personally. Vibration's stuff is getting a lot better, SCP is the label everyone's waiting to hear their stuff from, Delta has been disapointing but after hearing the stuff on 151, they are getting much better, HI-NRG Attack is slipping badly, A-Beat C isn't as dominant as they once were and Time is just downright not putting out the "goods". 151 is one of my favorite eurobeat CDs ever created with 153 getting another nod. Ever since 141, SCP has just been blowing me away time and time again with their quality and their inventiveness. Do I think they need to do some things though? Of course. All the labels need to work on changing their style (something SCP is doing big time with their almost Cyber Trance and Disco style in some songs) and stop using elements extremely similar in each song. But I personally love the 150s

The thing with the 150s so far is that the decade hasn't been fulltime eurobeat like the past sebs have been. The sudden change might've come as a bit of a surprise to some, and most don't really like it.
It might've been quality pop, but it's not what I want. So technically I haven't really liked 150s as a whole, even though the songs might've been good, and I've given the albums good grades.
