Chipmunking is usually used in non-stop mixes. If it's used in a regular song, then, it's probably done with stylistic purpose not because the singer couldn't sing it properly or something.

Dragonforce – Through the Fire and Flames It's at 200 BPM and it's totally melodic!
It would work on Eurobeat too.
Indeed. For exemple, your song "Return To Snake Mountain" clocks at 180 BPM. AFAIK, you didn't chipmunk yourself. :P

I'm down for more chipmunky / high pitch vocals. Keeps the genre interesting and not so plain.

Hi-NRG Attack were the best at chipmunky vocals. 2006-2009 had some great tracks
S.O.S. And Loving All Around
Hot Gal
Lovers In The Night
SEF Deluxe
Pagal
I Bet For Lovin'
Happy Snappy Valentine
Pun Pun Beam
Get A Boom

The list goes on! Also their back catalog from like 1998-2003 has some great chipmunky tunes!

Quoting Avex Music Publishing Catalogue website, the most noticeable song in 2000's was Nuage "Sunday" in 2002.

Since 15 years there hasn't been promoted any representative star, what means an artist with own real independent image and discography, performing on stage.

Except once Ace and Pamsy at AgeHa 2014, at the event were invited "The real voice of Niko", next Clara Moroni who sang as Cherry "Yesterday" and as Vanessa and Mela "Help Me" (!), so the all times smash hits before over 20 years and from inactive record companies. Also Domino appeared in Japan already 2 times at AgeHa 2013 (with Kaioh) and 2017.

Sufficient evidence that since 15 years first of all Avex Trax, but afterwards labels haven't taken care and promoted enough any new talent. A half of existence time of Eurobeat.

If you were the director of SEB what would you do or maybe what would you do with the director of SEB after 2017 ? :)

This is nothing new, that most of stranger fans see Eurobeat totally different than Japanese, no memories, no concerts, no discotheques, knowing the genre since all the hype was dead.

Pragmatically... You want to keep boost the sale of no-name artists on more CD series - earning money.

Japanese will keep continue buying of course, however...... After next 10-15 years there will be no fresh artist who can go on tour, because already now every event is promoted under advertising slogans relating with Eurobeat aliases before 20 years. Rather not a surprise.

Quoting Japanese who remember those times "it's a shame" today.

Others never cared. They don't live in Japan.

Probably the director of SEB has one order - release next CD and f*ck all the rest.
