Compact Music Composing Library

Definitely,it's not for synth purist.....jusk kidding!

this pack complied by me,i collected from many free trusted source, also many friendly,kind-hearted producers i know :)

Just 1.5 GB when extracted..... i have used it for years, after trying so many commercial VST and cheesy vegeance pack and then say good bye to them, returned for free stuffs, i just want to simplify everything to quick get myself into composing, also involve with DIY tweaking and processing, learning every bit!

Compact - Speed - Effective - Quality - Reliability

i know hard drive is getting cheap and cheaper for it's storage size, but you don't want to to waste too much time to lost yourself on dozen, hundred gigabyte sound library to search a worthy thing! also if you don't like your DAW waste few minutes of your life to load up library, also risk of crashing! :)

What inside the pack?

- A big drum sample : kickhat,clap,cym,percu....sampling from many hardware synth, also famous linhdrum
- A small pack with random helpful sample: Orchestra hit, some FX
- Synth1 with 15000 presets,lovely!
- SQ8L: a near perfect clone of SQ80/ESQ1 with enhanced features, come with alot of soundbanks, retro sounds from 80s,90s at hand
(SQ8L interface is more complicated to use than Synth1,but this VST has very big potential and firepower if you master it!)

- W1 Limiter: clone of Waves L1,a decent limiter VST,good for quick temporary mastering purpose, for loudness, but don't overdo!

- DSK Electrik Guitarz - virutal electric guitar for your music, but don't expect too much from it! just a interesing VST! (You should delete immediately if you own a guitar)

- Soundfont: 2 soundfront file, with sforzando VST for soundfront loading up
..i'm not familiar with soundfront, but you can get some real life instrument like flute,piano,orchestra,animal.....

of course, maybe not enough,so what else? help me to build a better compact library next time :)

A very very old school sound! maybe it's the sound of Synth1, but it seems particularly 80's sounding. Synthwave came to mind listening to this :D

thank you! purely synth1 (except drum pattern, which i proud the most because of my self-effort processing after so many hard times :P )

i also try to update brass patches sometime for better sounding! :)

i don't have time to dig all 15000 presets, but who know... you will have big chance to come across unique ones! :)

updated demo track!

Nice collection even though I already had a lot of the stuff inside.

I will upload some additions (samples and plugins) in the next few days, I have to organise them first properly.

To begin with, I'll give you my collection of DX7 patches. I got between 600 and 700 banks and each bank can contain up to 32 sounds. So it's a 5-digit amount of patches in total.

To be able to use them you will need a DX7 or a plugin that can read original DX7 patches.
There is a very good free multi platform emulation of a DX7 called Dexed. You can find it here:

Dexed

I know the DX7 and FM synthesis seems complicated in the beginning as it's not as intuitive as analogue synthesis. But just play around with the patches, try every control and after some time you will begin to understand how it works even without having studied mathematics.

There will be more to come but I need to find the time to organise the stuff.

Adding! ^-^

Personally, big fat stinkin' 90's drums and sounds are my favorite, but these sound really nice for Synthwave, retro Synthpop, New Wave, and anything that needs that 80's sound. I can think of a few producers who would love it! A-Ha comes to mind listening to it. Taaaaaaake oooooon meeeee~
