Stil Novo Records

For everyone who is still interested in Stil Novo Records (early 90s eurobeat): most of their songs are available online now in extended versions. For those who don't know the label: Trisha - Everytime You Want (Super Eurobeat 9) was on Stil Novo Records. Nando Bonini was an active writer for the label.

The radio versions have been available on Hi Energy Workout Stars compilations before, but now you can find the extended and instrumentals as well.

Juno has the best search, because they show everything by label here: http://www.junodownload.com/labels/Mandalino/releases. However, I think everything is available on itunes and spotify as well.

Great news. I have some vinyls, but wouldn't mind the entire catalog on mp3. Too bad the vinyl art is so small. :(

Woaahhh !

But Stil Novo itself or with all Finzy Records? You know, there was a kind of diversity, Baldoni - Rosellini started as Finzy Records with this unspecified Hi-NRG passing in Eurobeat and in 1991 label Stil Novo was continuing the previous projects.

My Stil Novo MP3 backup on the hard disk is over 30 files, but that's not everything. Uploaded on YouTube versions, any available on the internet need to be replaced by better quality copies, so I wonder how much of the discography they have for sale digitally now.

Lots of Clara Moroni ! :!:

Dunno but this is pretty good for what was a vinyl cover... Just need some cropping to remove some of the bad edges.

Only Stil Novo, als far as I can see. I tried to search for some Finzy titles, but couldn't find them. It is a bit odd though: the Stil Novo songs are listed under Mandolino records on Juno, and under Dancework on itunes. Mandalino was a label from 1991 as well, with only two songs I know of: Roberto Gabrielli - Come To Me and Titti - Stop Me Now. These songs are not available right now.

Mandalino records were published by Musicola, which became Dancework. Stil Novo was a sublabel of Finzy, which was published by Discomagic. I'm curious why Dancework now seems to own the Stil Novo catalog. Dancework is located in the same building as Discomagic was before it became bankrupt. Maybe Dancework bought the Stil Novo catalog.

Stil Novo has never cooperated seriously with any publisher where the name of Eurobeat and italian labels appeared on CDs in Japan. Two compilations Eurobeat EX include only radio versions and the tracklist doesn't even belong fully to F. Baldoni - B. Rosellini, so it's the most neglected label regarding japanese releases.

Let's exlude from my statement this song, some 1 mix cut on Eurobeat Fantasy and some 2 extended on Best Disco, because among 70 tracks that's really nothing to introduce their main style. The characteristic pulsating reverberation of synth-bass you will find on Eurobeat EX or analog records, where the greatest hits are. Here I was able to get photos of this mythic CD. Before you will use a word "hyper rare", remind yourself Eurobeat EX. :)

You know Roby and Gangster are Nando Bonini vocals. That is why he appears on writing credits too.

Of course. Lots of Fernando Bonini ! We got a wonderful chance to enjoying his rare voice under 140 BPM indeed, since copyrights owner gave us digital singles with extended and extra versions. This is when I recommend virtual music.

Incredible! I've never seen this compilation before. Great find! Many good songs on that one, especially Never Be Lonely, Round To Midnite and What To Do.
