I'm going to defend drnrg on this one, not only was 169 an exceptional album but Sophie's song was amazing, not only by Time's standards but eurobeat standards in general.
You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p

Oh comon J-Euro. "Drive In The Night" could easily be compared songs like "Tommorow Night" Angie Davies or Morena- "Stop Me" Those are great TIME 90's fare! :D

..Nice to see so many of you jumping on the D-NRG train. 8)

Don't worry... I just think the synths in those songs you mention have more power. "Drive in the night" just has a bit mellow sound. However, it's a good song! Maybe Time will make more songs like this. It reminds me of the return of Asia Records back in 1992. The first song (Boys Boys Boys - Teddy Boy) was mellow, but all songs that followed were excellent! (Alphatown - Runaway!)

Not to derail the thread, but could someone get that spelling error in the Thread Title?

Thanks.

Gah, I guess I'd better post an opinion about the song so that people wouldn't think I posted in this thread solely for pissing and moaning.

I've heard the old Havana edition back when I was a young'un and it's a pleasant surprise to hear it again. It's nice, but I heard it enough times from my uncle's old Chevelle back in the day to want to hear it repeatedly now. Still a good song though.
