New Eurobeat Prime look
Hello there. I have alot of spare time in the near future and this is going to allow me time to work on EurobeatPRIME and DOMINOnline a bit.
in my recient news post, http://forum.eurobeat-prime.com/viewtopic.php?t=1509 , I accidently gave a bad link to the new design concepts for EurobeatPRIME.
This link has been active for some time though we haven't been interested in showing it to the general public. I thought I'd attempt to generate some hype and ask forum users what they thought of the ideas and concepts. I left some notes on the page... So, Take a look! Tell us what you think! When EurobeatPRIME3.5 or eP4 is implimented, the forums will take on a new theme of thier own (though will include the old one as an alternate no doubt) so this affects all of you guys and gals too!
http://eurobeat-prime.com/live/ep2k7/
To add another note about how etched in stone these designs are, Compare DOMINOnline's current/upcoming style with it's concept piece...
Current style is on splash page - http://www.dominonline.net/

Cool I'm really liking the layout for Dave Rodgers fanlisting. Wicked pic of him. My only gripe is you have not included TIME or HRG Attack fanlisting? Am I to believe they will be excluded from the fan listing section? They have more fan following than you reralize.
Aside from that gripe, The rest of the layouts are looking very good. The colors are very eye catching, especially the E.P layout and I really like the pics of different artist in circle images. I think the basic plans are really comming around. Best of all, all the layouts have a definate Eurobeat feel to them. Something many Eurobeat related web sites lack.
Anyway, great stuff1 Can't wait for final result.

I had fanlistings for both labels in the past but there are rules to how Thefanlistings.org works, and they didn't get fans and I got bored updating them over and over with no members joining. Hence I closed them alongside with some 10 other fanlistings I used to have in the past.drnrg wrote:Cool I'm really liking the layout for Dave Rodgers fanlisting. Wicked pic of him. What Panu said above.. I actually did a HRG design based on the abstract version i did earlier before i noticed that it was discontinued.. For that reason, it's not posted up. I also did quite a few other fanlistings that never got used or got discontinued before they went up...drnrg wrote:Cool I'm really liking the layout for Dave Rodgers fanlisting. Wicked pic of him. Sadly, The fanlistings actually don't get very much attention despite that fans are listed, some people didnt even notice that the designs change though I've been trying to talk Panu into making them a series of mini-biography sites or integrating them more with the artist profiles to make it feel better. Possibly sticking to just mini-label sites or something.
Thanks alot! I write alot of SciFi stuff and want eurobeat in any movies made, So I kinda feel that the style clicks well with it, Glad to see I'm not the only one. Did you have any other sites in mind? I did the design for Eurobeat Evolution several years back, but the webmaster and i didnt get along for a long time so I dont support it anymore.drnrg wrote:All the layouts have a definate Eurobeat feel to them. It's still trying to, so this is the third time I've deleted something from this post while typing it....drnrg wrote:Actually I was a member of Eurobeat Evolution. Before this one. I think that the main problem seems to be that no one really knows how to translate Eurobeat into visuals. My styles rather Chaotic and sometimes on the bright side, so it seems to work. Panu and I were talking about the idea of a ePRIME mascot.. but, it'd probly be better to not have one.

It looks interesting! I can't wait to see the 'new look' of EP. Any new features, besides the possible (but apprently unlikely) mascot?
Seeing Phil update is definitely cool... xD;

EurobeatLIVE Includes IRC Room / site applet, and possibly live artist/producer interviews where you can ask mods questions and the mods can get the guest to answer in real time.
Seamlessly Integrated forum/site/everything else so everything looks like it's part of the whole, including the ability to log in from anywhere in the site.
and an already-made music clip listening station so you can hear samples of eurobeat music. Theres a few other features too.. but these are 3 of the biggest...
He was actually suggesting a husky dog. Hmm... We can't figure out a mascot that'd be worth making.drnrg wrote:So what did you have in mind? Something out of Vampire Hunter D? My favorute
