Thank god. Unless she's Wendy White in disguise, haha.

I don't mind her music in small doses, but her songs were just becoming bland because of her constant repetitious appearances.

I'm extremely surprised to see Joe Yellow - USA. I don't think it was on many Avex CDs...
You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p

Maybe she's taking a break from this SEB to make a decent song.

I mean, I don't mind her, I actually like her older stuff... but the songs that have been on every single CD have been just "alright" to me, nothing I would go back to listen to on repeat. Avex needs to give us an Annerley break before we die of A.Gordon Over Dose! XD

There is one thing that makes me sad about 177... The new Go Go Girls song was suppose to be released by now. Seriously. Where the hell is it Avex, where the hell? XD

^ Speak for yourself, I for one NEED an Annerley song for me to buy the CD. It doesn't matter if the song is mediocre, she is still the only great singer that Eurobeat has EVER seen - unless you get a kick out of those terrible accents of course.

So sorry AVEX, I'm skipping this one.

:???: I was! XD

I know how you feel though with Annerley, whenever I see a Domino song on a CD I instantly buy the album and the extendeds on mu-mo. XD I literaly shit my pants when I had the pleasure of having two Domino songs released in a row. It beats having to wait 1+ years for new material. I guess it all balances out though, having to wait a bajillion years for new Annerley songs in which she has one seemingly every album now, where with me I gotta wait between at least 6 months to at most two years for a new Domino song. :C

I have to explain myself better I guess!

I think we can all agree that Annerley is a great singer. However, people don't seem to get that not all songs are "made" for a certain artist. The fact that some people haven't liked any of Annerley's recent songs (although I don't understand people that don't like Say Yeah for example) doesn't mean that they can give her fantastic songs on the next four albums. So wanting an artist to take a break is ridiculous - this is hardly the pop scene where every artist has an individual sound. A Nuage song can be done by Kelly T and a Dave Rodgers song can be done by Mega NRG Man - it's not a bad thing but it's the truth.

Say Yeah was the only really good Annerley song in the recent past. But the whole point is that no matter what artist it is, the songs do get repetitive and boring after a while.
I know this same thing has happened to basically all of the artists I loved. Lolita (who I consider a 100 times better vocalist than Annerley) did awesome for years but most of the stuff that was released under the title did get repetitive at some point, no matter if she wasn't getting as heavy appearance as Annerley has been having the past 10 albums.

Nuage, Fastway, Dave, mostly all of the names that pop up all the time on SEBs are great artists. The fact still is that if there are new songs out on every single album for years, the quality will suffer at one point or another.

And by this statement I'd say that artists that take breaks and don't appear on every album (or have like a song every 5 albums or less) usually keep their level higher than the ones that appear every single time. With the recent relatively high amount of Kiki & Fancy songs, I'm suspecting a notch down sooner or later.

I'm not surprised it's you to write a statement like that. With total unconcideration for the other Eurobeat females greats like Clara, Elena, etc..

IMOP it is especially those accents that give Eurobeat a sense of standing out among the other everyday music. Furthermore accents have allways played a major part in identifying an artist, From The Beatles and Duran Duran's Enlish Accent to U2's Irish accent. Even Green Day, who are American, fake an Enlish accent when singing. Am I to believe that you have no accent what so ever? I know it's your opinion, but your generalizing statements upset fans like me, especially when I think they(artist) stumble upon these forums and read them. They would probobly take offense.

Don't get mad. After all ;you are sort of asking us weather we"get a kick" out of European accents in Eurobeat or not? Difference is : I get a kick out of those AWESOME European accents :P

Powerful T. again?? Honestly, he is well overrated, and his voice really grates on me :???:

Being one of the few people that actually enjoyed "Wonderful", it's good to see Ai Yamamoto making another appearance. Also nice to see Manuel back in the frame ;)

I hope that Manuel is GO GO's this time, cause A-Beat C has been getting on my nerves with their new sound recently...
By the way, maybe Daniel and/or Wendy White are the rumored new GO GO's artists?

01. WHY DID YOU SAY I'M SORRY/VANESSA
02. USA/JOE YELLOW
03. RADIO/SALT & PEPPER
04. CALL GIRL/MARLENE
05. LOVER MAN/MEGA NRG MAN
06. TARZAN/GO GO GIRLS
07. 'CAUSE THE NIGHT/SARA
08. BOOM BOOM SEXY LADY/JOE BANANA
09. INTO THE FIRE/MEGA NRG MAN
10. MADE OF FIRE/NIKO
11. SEXY SEXY SEXY/KEN MARTIN
12. EVERYBODY DANCE/LOLITA
OH MY F***ING GOD - That is an awesome bonus disc line-up :D Esepcially an extended Made Of Fire at LONG LAST! (And Everybody Dance for good measure, which is all the more amusing given I downloaded that over the weekend)

Also 'Cause The Night should be interesting considering I made a radio edit of that a while back ;)

Seems like Avex are appeasing us by providing extendeds of songs previously only ever available in megamix form! The only song in that list that's already been released in un-mixed form is Lover Man - nice span of songs old and newer there, though!

On the main list - What Kind Of Cure is an awesome retro EB song ;) Here's hoping they don't balls it up!

I love Say Yeah. It is my #1 song since February and I´m sure I will keep playing it the whole year. Let´s pray for a comeback in 178
