Franz's voice: Detecting age?

Post by zoupzuop2 » 29 Apr 2007, 00:28

I've been listening to some of Franz Tornado's recent tracks, and something seems to be a bit different between the halves of time between the old and new: Franz's voice sounds a bit more coarse, a bit rougher than when in, say, Caballero With Sombrero or Bazooka Pistolero. I understand use and age would do this, but do you think that one of our favorite Bazooka wielders will be leaving the scene any time soon? Hopefully not.

Your thoughts, all.

I think it's just the effects, because he sounded even deeper in Danger, Bad Illusion, Blue Jean etc

Might just be some voice distortion. Also, cant see him stopping anytime soon, he pretty much makes Hi-NRG what it is, and without him there wouldnt really be a Hi-NRG Attack. Also, judging from a few videos i've seen him in, i'm guessing he's in his late late 40's or 50's.

I do not think Federicco Will be leaving anyTIME soon. We need our dose of Chaotic-Wild eurobeat and no team does it better than HRG Attack. He sounded just great on Moo Moo Dollars and shows no sign of slowing down.
Don't you know that the singing vocals are usually the last to go(unless you smoke) Just look at Mick Jagger or Kiss and they strain thier vocals alot more. Heck I even saw Tony Bennet singing on T.V. and he is about 100 :D So I think Federicco will be around for a lot more years. In fact, I'm counting on it! 8)

Well, yeah, there's no question that he sounds great still, he can hit the notes and still sing a great Eurobeat song. However, there's certain elements to a voice that one can tell is aging, usually beyond age 40 or so. Too much strain and stress on a voice can cause damage to it, and take the throat with it too.
Still, Frederico Rimonti HAS been going at this for quite some time, given early-mid 90's to almost twenty years later, and that's BOUND to do something to one's voice. Very few artists last such a long time, if not for economic/musical/whatever reasons, then simply for age in the industry.
Hopefully, even if the voice does change drastically, we'll still have our Tornado Cow friend giving us a cyclone of energy year after year.

LONG LIVE FRANZ TORNADO, THE BAZOOCOW TORNADO SUPERCHILD!

Ha Ha. If Mauro Farina's vocal wonders can hang this many years, I'm sure Federicco has a few more miles in him too :D
